Microsoft E3 2009

Thanks Spidey-Bat, you made me realize how poor I'm going to be this fall. Starting with Splinter Cell late October, then MW2 on the 10th and L4D2 and Assassins Creed the same day a measly week later. That's like $240 in less than a month.

I was there in 2007 with COD4, NHL 08, Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, and Halo 3 all lumped together. I was actually getting unemployment from my workplace closing down, so I was spending my unemployment on those games, haha.

While the chick talking about twitter & stuff was cute I will never understand why Microsoft did not announce PD:64 during their conference if they had it playable & they would have flat out won E3 regardless of what anyone else showed if they had trailers for PD:64 & TMNT: TIT & MVC2. Whoever planned this conference should be fired

I have Perfect Dark 64 for N64, I love it, I could care less it's on Live.

Yeah, the announcement of a nearly 10 year old game coming on Live really wouldn't have been the biggest priority to announce at the conference unless Rare had something else to go along with it for the 360

MS has a big summer lineup coming for XBLA. They could have done a short video of all the games and included PD, it would have gone over well.

Some decisions made at these conferences never make sense.

Yeah, that would have made sense, but to come out and take up time with individual trailers for these games (PD, MVC2 & TIT) wouldn't have. Especially when one of them isn't even a XBLA exclusive

Oh, right, the hardcore people who made me stop playing the game because it became too much tactics and not enough fun.

Looking at some of the gameplay footage for L4D2, you can see that they haven't changed that much, which isn't a bad thing. Depending on the actual content I don't know if they couldn't just make it a DLC.

True. L4D could've used some more content before releasing a sequel.

**** that ****.
That **** has saved me hundreds of dollars.

Also, people online as pissed about Left 4 Dead 2. I mean, ok, we get it, they're milking it don't buy it, get over it.

I still think it should be DLC, but honestly, I love the first game so much I'm sold no matter what.

That's my problem with L4D. I played the beta and had fun, but there just wasn't enough content for me to plunk down the money. Then to release a sequel with barely more content a year later, I'm still not sold on the amount of content vs. the price.

I get that the director makes the games unique, but still.

I didn't buy L4D, but I might get L4D2 if they add alot more content to the sequel.

Yeah, I prefer my zombie movies/games with rednecks as well. Zombies + the "hood" = Zzzzzzzzzz
