Hm...don't remember seeing that gunship before.
 
I love how the light from the Helghasts eyes are casting onto his sleeve (that's a screencap from the trailer btw).

The Helghast attack fighter drops down out of the clouds after you destroy the Lightning generator. I can't wait to see what it does, because the devs said you actually do engage it in combat, so I'm assuming you'll have the rocket launcher.
 
The game is just looking phenomenal, and so early in development to. I can't wait to see the full game once it gets another level of polish. I'm just so impressed with how much detail is in the game and how smooth it looks and runs.

I really can't wait to download the beta off of the Playstation Network. :)
 
How many more times until new screens are actually new screens? :(
 
This reminds me of the early days of the original Killzone where 'new screens' would just be old screens with a new color filter. :D
 
These are new shots though. The IQ is sharper, the filter is letting a bit more of the color through, and there was never a dropship in this shot before.

I think the game has a lost a bit of detail, I remember there being hair on the bandanna guys arm. :(
 
I guess you don't understand how the lighting works. The only other game that does the bouncing lights in SplinterCell Conviction.

Having a volumetric lightsource on a character-model is nothing new. You might as well be impressed by the guards in Thief 3 who carried a torch around. Wowzers, it lights the guard up AND the environment!

This is the very reason you should have had an Xbox. You'd be less impressed with garbage effects today.

Killzone uses Indirect Lighting, like Splinter Cell Conviction.
 
Killzone also uses lousy designers to make it's games, so it won't be very good. :o
