Knight Rider 2008: The Thread

Thursday night is the only night NBC does OK and the shine is coming off the turd, as it relates to the Office....the UK version is far superior....

I don't even think of the UK and US Offices as the same thing anymore. They're doing very different things now with the same core concept, so they're like apples and oranges to me.

30 Rock is still great, at least.

As for everything else, yeah, NBC's not doing so great. I don't know about the ratings, but I got caught up on this season of Heroes this week and found it pretty lackluster. There are some good elements, but they're almost always overshadowed by really terrible nonsense. Plus, this is the third time in as many seasons that they've used that same goddamn "the future's doomed, we must save the world in the present by preventing it from ever happening" plot. Crack open a comic book, for Christ's sake; that's not the only thing superheroes ever deal with. :o

Anyway, this post got away from me entirely. So, uh, Knight Rider with the Hoff in season 2, huh? It seems incredibly forced to me, since they already established him as Mike's dad. Actually bringing him onto the show full-time takes it from spiritual successor to shameless rip-off milking straight from the teet of the original because it can't stand on its own.

That'll go over well with that much-coveted German demographic here in America.

I watched 'Nick Fury Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.' the other night and basked in the greatness...

This show is still on!!!!!????!!

You should all be ashamed of yourselves... This is why the movie industry is spiralling downwards.

Oh well.......one less show to watch. it was fun while it lasted.

Not even the blantant flaunting of Deanna Russo's assets could save this show. Note to some NBC employees: A show need more than **** and ass to keep a show afloat.

Is NBC not going to show the last few episodes before taking it off the air?

Didn't Drive only last four episodes?

Yep, Dr Lee.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drive_(TV_series)

"The show premiered on April 13, 2007 on CTV in Canada.[3] It debuted in the United States on April 15, 2007 on FOX, and moved into its regular time slot on Mondays the next day; in that slot it faced stiff competition from NBC's Deal or No Deal and ABC's Dancing with the Stars. On April 25, FOX cancelled Drive after four episodes had aired"

fox are prats, they put a brand new show against those two shows and are not happy when it fails to get viewers? Drive had much more potential than KR08 did.

Still waiting for the show to air in the U.K. although from what I'm hearing I shouldnt really be expecting much.

All I wanna know is - Has this show had it's own version of K.A.R.R. yet?

Garth Knight?

They have mentioned K.A.R.R. recently and it seems that it is going in that direction to having one.

In that case, I look forward to it seeing it;

if it gets made that is.

do we know if the Hoff is gonna get a chance to appear before the end of the current run?

I think Heather Graham's show on ABC was officially cancelled before the end credits of the first episode! And they hyped the mess outta that show beforehand!

Not Quite Cancelled.

Yes, they havent ordered any more episodes. But no, it's not an official cancellation. That fate depends on the ratings of the remaining episodes.

Well I hope their plans to remove three of the characters and focus more on the man and his car story line will improve the show. I still think this has potential if they turn down certain aspects of the show and take it a bit more seriously.

I've still enjoyed this show so far though.
