i'd love to see it, but lucas shouldn't direct it... if he ever decides to make more star wars films, he should give it to someone else to direct.

Oh I loved this game, I would love it as a film or the first game just as 3 films, as they are long so just make this one into 3 films ( I would that they might be better then the SW films also, and I loved the Old Republic)

There's a lot out there in the SW universe that could be turned into great movie, miniseries and series material. Only hinderance I see is George, though it's his baby and he has to limit it's output for some level of quality control.

A lot of the SW novels are amazing and I think should be made into movies. Story wise I prefer many of the novels to the work done in the prequel movies.

The Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn
The Jedi Academy Trilogy by Kevin J. Anderson

A New Hope would have been so much better if it was gritty and dark. As would every movie ever made. Violent and dark means something is of high quality and mature.

Well, nowadays Lucas is surrounded by yesmen like Rick McCallum. Plus I think the wealth, glory, and power have gone to his head so much that he thinks anything he does is great.

visual effects in TV shows have gotten A LOT better, so i think they can pull it off.

Best Idea I've heard in a long time. So casting choices anyone? Carth always gave off this weird Alec Baldwin vibe but yeesh id hate for him to play that role.
