They mentioned in their article on BOF that they had a script...but they took that report down because they patched up with BOF....

But expect something on a script in the near future

you kno all i want to know is the direction they are taking the story and if its good or not.

they said expect somethign within a week, so.......

I hope they will post the review of the script soon.

i don't... i can't come here then. thank god i didn't visit any batman boards and sites in 2003, 2004, 2005. i had lost faith in the character afte b&r and thanks to nolan i'm a fan again but the great thing about batman begins is I DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING about Begins next to what you could see in tv spots and heard in cast interviews. it was a completely new experience and that's what was so great. i don't want any spoilers...

They can get some script draft.

And if Nolan starts the shooting in Jan, most likely the script will be done by November or December.

That's what I'm wondering. I wonder if theis is the actual script, or just the treatment Goyer and Nolan wrote. It could also just be like the first 2 acts of the script since they might not be done with the first draft yet. Either way, it'll be interesting to read the review of it.

I am glad for you, but you have already become one of us :D ;)

they dont have the script they have the 80 page treatment goyer wrote.

I think that Excel said in another thread that what LR have gotten their hands on is the Treatment for the film (about 80+ pages or so) written by Goyer.

Oh man i was hoping this wouldnt happen..I'm going to be VERY tempted to read this..Hope it doesnt have alot of spoilers like the BB one had..

At least A draft of the script must be done at this point. Jonah Nolan started writing it back at the beginning of the year. I doubt Heath Ledger would have signed if he hadn't been able to read significant portions of the script, and I'm sure they've shown a draft to PSH if he indeed has been offered Penguin. Those guys are both careful in their role selections and most likely wouldn't have considered anything without a script.

Plus if it's to shoot in January they need to get into some serious pre-production extremely soon, which would be tough without a script for all of the departments to get cracking on.

Exactly, theres gotta be a script about now as pre-production sketches need to be done sets to be built, ready for filming start.

but if a script does appear treatment or otherwise, it would be really hard not to take a peek,i wouldent want to, because it would spoil the film, but not reading would be so hard.

I hope they don't post a review. Really. The best thing was the DarkHorizons review, were consisted of a bunch of bulleted facts about the film and the script. it gave some info without spoiling the first half of the movie.

I read that David S. Goyer is going to write a 2nd draft? I can't remember where, ya think that's true?

Well there was 80 page draft that he wrote but I think it's true cos he's is in since Nolan brother might not have kmowledge of the comics.

I'd be willing to bet that the script, at least a near final draft of it, is completed. I don't think that Ledger would've taken The Joker without reading a script first. Nolan brought the script to everyone when casting the first film, I'd be willing to bet that he's got one finished by now.

man i remember the first time i read the BB script, i went from detached casual follower to true believer

do you guys think the magic can happen again?

The magic will continue into The Dark Knight.
