Yea, that would be something. There's no doubt this series will be on par with the last one. The way the ATLAB kept getting better and better, ATLOK isn't a brand new show. Not really...

I wonder if they'll have appearances or at least references to more of the original series' characters. It'd be nice to know where Appa, Momo, Toph, Sokka, and Zuko ended up in addition to Aang and Katara.

Well we know that Aang Dies and Tenzin is his and Katara's Son.... but I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing Old Man Sokka

Like I said in the other thread, it is going to be a hard pill to swallow knowing that Aang is dead in this series. We won't have the joy of hearing his laughter or seeing him up to his childlike antics (flashbacks don't count.) I wish they could have given the gang one more major adventure as adults before making them very old and killing Aang.

I'm fine with Aang (and probably others) being dead. They had their time and we got a great story out of them. Plus, as SuperFerret said, Aang's still a part of the Avatar so we'll see him now and then.

Not that difficult. Sure, having people for him to fight and not demolish would be difficult, but with the spirit world (and the Avatar's duties regarding it) would provide for that. It's basically the Superman situation (though Aang is more powerful than Clark), where you need to challenge the character intelligently and creatively.

This is awesome news. Aang being dead is a disappointment but............. You can't have a new Avatar around w/o the old one being killed. All I need is to see Toph from time to time and I'll be happy.

I keep forgetting that the cast of Avatar was so young. People keep saying they want to see the original characters back and I'm like, "Wouldn't they all be dead?" But then I remembered that Zuko was the oldest and he was only like 15 or 16 at most, so it's entirely possible they could all still be alive.

Come to think of it, I wonder what Azula's up to. Maybe she stopped being such a raging b**** eventually.

I'm hoping she had a daughter who eventually is the antagonist to Korra's story. Azula was such a cool villain.

That seems like a likely end for Azula. I'm kinda sad that Bumi's likely dead by now.

I wonder if they discovered any new continents in the Avatar world ? It can't just be the Earth Kingdom , Northern and Southern Water Tribes and the Fire Nation.
