Great casting on both, if true. Koji was amazing on Warrior and Centineo was great on The Recruit. Never heard of Nexus Point News though so I don’t know if this is reliable at all.

Street Fighter is set to be directed by Kitao Sakurai (Bad Trip) and the latest draft was written by Dalan Musson (Captain America: Brave New World).

Hmm, not the best track record, though I did like TFATWS, its behind-the-scenes production issues and messy politics aside, but I contribute that a lot to Covid and the showrunner.

Maybe this is the kind of project he needs to show what he can do.

I would agree with that, I thought Brave New World was a mixed bag and a bit of a mess, but that movie had five other writers too,

I did like the fifth episode of FATWS he worked on.

Also thought that Ryu and Ken would have been around the same age or pretty close at least. There’s a nine year gap between Koji and Centineo

Mortal Kombat 2021’s weren’t great aside from the Scorpion and Sub Zero fights.

For sure! That third season when it moved to HBO Max really upped the ante with the fight choreography! Hadn't seen that level of fighting since maybe Into the Badlands.

Watched II V not too long ago, I really enjoyed it! Was cool to see different takes on each character, and the fights were awesome! Also liked that most of the voice cast from the animated movie reprised their roles.

Bison wearing Blue instead of red was weird, though.
