Action-Adventure Legendary/Paramount/Capcoms’ Street Fighter film

i like how ryu isn't the stoic badass from the videogames yet in street fighter II V, but by the end you see he starts to get to that point.

apparently the director of the series is the same one from the animated movie that came out right before.

i should rewatch it again.

Where can you even watch it? I been dying to rewatch for years but I can’t find it anywhere.

this was an awesome series because they actually cared about giving the characters story arcs and there was an actual plot.

sagat was a good guy at first!

I liked Cammy the most in that series...

While Balrog (or Vega outside Japan) is a creep 😆

Which fight did you like better, Ken and Balrog in V or Chun-Li and Balrog in the movie? LOL

Definitely Ken and Balrog/Vega in V, lol
It was the most bloody scene in a Street Fighter anime, haha
Its been a while since I last watched the series...but what I remembered the most during that fight between Ken vs Vega was the bgm...besides the 2 opening songs and ending song, the series had a memorable BGM soundtrack.

That same BGM when Ryu practices his Hadouken...
It was soo good!!

Why R.Reign to play Akuma??
Akuma is japanese

No problem if Reign plays a demonic japanese character, Akuma s face is also deformed by evil hado

balrog (claw) is always a sadistic psychopath :whoops:

but sagat is my favorite of the four kings of shadowloo.

i pick him the most when i played the games but also because of his character arc in the lore.

starts out honorable, but gets consumed by anger/pride due to his loss to ryu, then later finding redemption.

that's why i like how he was reimagined in street fighter II V.

they did a good job in changing up everyone's story - it felt different yet familiar at the same time.

It is indeed weird, isn't it? Haha
Add to the fact that Gouki's looks and design are based off Niō , a Mahayana (an East Asia Buddhism) Buddhist guardian deity, so I'd prefer that he is played by Japanese actor, or at least an East Asian ancestry actor.

But this is a Hollywood production, after all...so i kinda prepare for the change haha

I don't agree that fighting games can't make good movies. Enter The Dragon hardly had a fantastic story behind it but it worked big time as a movie. Like with any other adaptation you just need to take the source material seriously and be faithful to why your adapting. This movie unfortunately doesn't sound that.

Hey, more of an effort on the hair than was done for Van Damme!

The cast of Street Fighter continues to expand as sources tell Nexus Point News that Eric André has joined the cast. Although details of who Andre is portraying is being kept under wraps, NPN can suspect it’s likely the character Don Sauvage
