Its more coherent, has better editing and pacing, and adds more character beats and fixes a few plotholes. If you abosolutely hate the movie it probably wont change your opinion. There have been a lot of people though who didnt like it though, who liked UC a lot more. People who liked the TC generally like the UC more.

I went to go see the Lego movie myself when it came out, it was pretty awkward sitting with all the little kids and their parents. Looked weird.

I really want to go see this as well, but I don't have any friends who would want to see it.
