Lego Batman: The Video Game

I wish you could unlock some non-Batman heroes, like Supes or Flash. But that doesn't seem like it'll happen. :csad:

I just got the new Game Informer, and they showed Rhas Al'ghul (Sp?) and Harly along with the villians. Both looked really great.

Nice B8. I'm just ready to play as Joker...and Robin.

I won't be able to play this game til October 1st. I've been ready to play this game since I first read the announcement. It's just one of those games that looks fun.

I'm kinda hoping that they have Supes as a secret character to unlock. :(

I think it's pretty much a case of who isn't in this now. Pretty much every Batman character is in the game.

I want Scarface...and if the GI is anything to go by, then he's not in it.

How funny would it be to have a lego character, with a mini lego doll attached to his arm. :D

It would be.

I know Hush is confirmed too, which was a pleasant surprise.

Hush?? Sweet. I heard he was a rumor.

Someones going to have to give up a full game review to feed my appetite til I can get it.

Perferably someone who plays with various heroes and villians.:cwink:

I'm deciding if to get this or SW:TFU. (I'll get the loser for Christmas)

I'm sort of worried this will be as short as Lego Indiana Jones (all 1000 achievements in like 2 months).

It can't be any shorter than The Force Unleashed was...and I'm sure it has more replay value.

Picked it up a couple hours ago. I've been playing it ever since.

So far, I love it. Take everything good about the Lego Star Wars games, add it in a neo-gothic Gotham City, switch out lightsabers and the force for fists and rather technologically advanced gadgets, and you've got this. Batarang mode and the special suits for Batman and Robin are a blast to use. The cutscenes are hilarious, too. I got particularly cracked up during a scene where Killer Moth keeps reaching for a... well, you'll see what I mean when you get to it. :woot:

I'd rate it 8/10, having only played around five or six levels and one on Freeplay mode. The only downside is that you don't get to play as a villain right off the bat... you kind of have to work your way to that point. So far, I haven't even gotten the chance.

PIcked it up today and have been playing for about 2 hours. IT's great so far! A lot of fun, one little glitch, but awesome none the less.

I was about to fight Claydace, and I jumped in the little car thing and drove over ot him, and Batman was stuck. Robin, who wasn't in a vehicle was fine, but I couldn't switch to Batman. All I did was press start on the second controller and made him jump out myself.

I just picked up the game too. Got a Catwoman keychain as well, to go with my Batman keychain when I made the pre-order.

However, I cannot play the game. My system just kicked the bucket, and I'm left with the game on my lap til it gets repaired.

I made the pre-order a month ago, and was eagerly awaiting my keychain today. Instead, I got a lame poster. Apparently the store only got 5 keychains total and gave them all away within the first hour of opening. That didn't hurt my enthusiasm for the game, but certainly didn't improve my already low opinion of Gamestop.

Getting ready to play this evening after class...
