God, the rooftop races are infuriating.

They are hard, and the controls are annoying, but to say they are terrible it's going excessive, once you get used to the controls they are easy as pie
I use a keyboard mostly, it's easier to control them on a keyboard for the race, but I understand why you have more grief than I do, it's not easy with the gamepad

Ant-Man summons them, the ants charge
Squirrel Girl and Curt Connors toss their animals of choice

Hold the attack button in regular size
Leave it to see a group of enemies break
Trick doesn't work on doombots
Never tried it against large foes, but doubt it works against them either

I was playing this the other day and realized that bruce banner had dialogue, I'd never heard him speak before on this game.

The only line I heard from Banner is "There goes another good shirt" inside the Statue of Liberty, and only once

I agree. There's one I threw in the towel on. I can't get my character to run after sliding down one of the ropes or railings. Time always runs out as I get to the end.

It took me at least 7 fails before beating it

No. It just gives you a gold brick. I've got the majority of the characters unlocked.

Just a question, how do I unlock the alt costumes for Cyclops, Jean Grey, Mr Fantastic, Thing, Invisible Woman, Doc Ock, Mandarin and how do I get the Black Panther's cat back to him?

Any help would be much appreciated!

I really enjoyed this game on the PS3. The only problem is that when I do free play there is about a 50% chance that when I load the level, the whole thing crashes.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I had it once, then the problem stopped being a problem, and the game worked just fine

You need to do the mission to unlock his car first, you find Captain Britain asking you to bring his car by the bank, where Shocker & Electro comic mission is at
After completing this you can find him on the map

You find missions on the map to unlock them, to unlock these missions you need to start with other missions
Reed can be unlocked after beating Ghost Rider in a race

Thing, Invisible Woman, Doc Ock, Mandarin

You find character tokens in freeplay of comic missions, I don't remember where to find Thing, maybe in the Lizard mission (125 gold bricks to unlock mission)
Invisible Woman found in Dr. strange comic mission during freeplay in the first area (150 gold bricks to unlock mission)
Doc Ock you play the comic mission in the Daily Bugle and complete it (forgot how many Gold bricks to unlock that mission)
Mandarin is a token to find in the circus comic mission in Central Park (100 Gold bricks to unlock the mission)

and how do I get the Black Panther's cat back to him?

Follow Mr Tithers to groups of Extremis thugs (Aldrich Killian troops), when you are done with all groups, you can call the cat to chase after you until you guys reach the Panther

VenomSpawn went to Arthur Parson's twitter and mentioned this, Arthur replied about a patch they will release fixing the problems
That was over a month ago I believe, the patch should be available now

Holy...crap. There's this race on top of a building where you use a toy car. THE TOY CAR HAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST CONTROLS I'VE EVER PLAYED. Holy s***, how did they make the damn toy car so bad?

The large doombot? That's the one I know was confusing for people

I used the skydrive, or whatever it called, great vehicle
But I usually hitch a taxi or a small car for these races
