I wonder if the Rogue's mother stuff and alternate end scene worked together? I mean if there was a cut where she went to see her mother instead of the cure clinic and ended up choosing to stay as she was. Like an alternate storyline.

With how fast and disorienting this movie was, I wouldn't be surprised if the 30 seconds that were cut covers all of those sequences.

There was a lot of small little bits of awesome that I wish there were more of in this film.

No, I remember them saying the 30 second scene was just that, a 30 second transition into another scene, not bits and pieces here and there.

Trust me when I say there's plenty that has been cut or removed due to time constraints. This movie could've been everbody's X3 if FOX took the time for it.

I have 2 theories on this.

1) Since X-3 was rushed into production, Brett didnt have much time finish all of the effects. I mean the release date was already scheduled way before Vaugn was on and Brett does what Fox tells him to do. I think he is still finishing off effects for the DVD release

2) Fox could have made Brett cut more than the 30 sec scene he wanted to cut for "pacing" and so they will make more money by knowing fan's will buy the DVD for those scenes.

I can confirm 1/2 of those scenes were shot and in a cut of the movie because they were shown at a press screening my mate got me into

How come so many were cut?

One gets the feeling it was really out of the filmmakers' hands by the time it got to post production.

I don't get why Fox continues its relentless stance of well, deafness to the most loyal fanbase of Xmen... I'm not sure what they think they want to achieve except well, other than profits...

Still - I would have thought X2 would've a huge swallow of the humble pie for Fox to follow...

I feel bad for those not responsible, if it is that, all in all.

Remember how Kinberg told us that the Danger Room scene was all cut up , when it INFACT , wasnt changed in the final theatrical version at all?

Somethings just dont add up.

Simon said it was cut up, yet that is EXACTLY what we saw. Plus he said the music was just temp, but it was the same.

Collosus Vs Jug's

Wolverine's speech from the trailer, "You go to war, you might not come home, she might not come home, you think of that?" Iceman's response was "We're not kids anymore."

Trask from the trailer saying, "You know what needs to be done." (This was after Magneto declaring he will exterminate humans)

Collosus speaking while metaled up: "Try it without the power of magnetism on your side"

Storm's Tidal Wave

Phoenix Flame while she goes nuts at the end.

Xaviers speech about Angels and Demons (this was used as the monologue with something about when conflicts get too high or something)

The Sentinel reveal (good thing it was cut, looked like plastic)

Angel in the end-battle fighting

It's very amusing when corporations and businesses go to great lengths to besmirching their own brand names and reputations and don't really make an effort to restore that.

Magneto : "Get to the boy ... and kill him!"
Juggernaut : "About time!"
Soldiers : "Look out!"

Juggernaut continues to pummel soldiers around the field like rag-dolls. But something stands in his way.

Beast yells to Kitty : "Go get the boy!"
Kitty : "Im already on it!"
Wolverine : "Kitty ... be care" but before Wolverine can finish his sentence he gets smacked down by a fellow mutant.

Meanwhile Juggernaut and Colossus exchange looks. Kitty gets into the building and heads for the floor where Leech is on. She goes up a stairwell and goes around a corner. The scene cuts back to Juggernat and Colossus. Juggernaut gets annoyed and tells Colossus :

Juggernaut : "You'd better get outta my way tinman"

Colossus ignores the provocation and moves towards Juggernaut. Both lock there arms together and you can see the raw power of both of the mutants. But suddenly Juggernaut breaks free grabs one of the cars that are spread over the Alcatraz battle-ground. He grabs the car by the hood and smacks Colossus out of his way. Colossus slides several meters and almost knocks over a guard tower in the process. Juggernaut then jumps onto the Humvee and enters the building by jumping to the 2nd floor. Kitty sees Juggernaut jump in the building and manages to get the "upper-hand" on him.

Dont you lot find it strange that Kitty enters at the 1st floor while Juggernaut jumps 10 meters in the air and gets in on the second? Kitty was supposed to get in first but Juggernaut managed to cut her off a great deal. Thats how it went in my screening anyway

Probably the most I'd wanted to see. I don't know why that was cut as well. More Angel time.

I feel bad for the 'victims' who had nothing to with blatant abuse of Fox.

That happens before the rescue? He wasn't in uniform right?

Did he say anything during battle? Who did he combat, and did he interact with the Xmen?

On another note - I have a feeling that Beast's fight sequence was a little edited to an extent as well, but at least it was there.

Logan shouted "Kitty!" when she ran to get Leech. Don't remember anything else.
