Ok i have been reading this particular thread carefully and now after hearing the number of scenes that have been edited out of the FINAL movie i am pissed!!!

especially the Collosus vs. juggernaut, Angel fight scenes, Collosus talking and Storm flooding the bad mutants.

I still think the movie was really good (7.5) but I think it would have been AWESOME (10) if they had left the above mentioned scenes in the movie.

If any one is downloading X3 with all those scenes then I beg you please send it to me please because i am 100% sure those scenes will not be added to the DVD.

They WILL release the directors cut but possibly up to a year after initial release. Daredevil... Elektra... Alien vs. Predator.... all got Directors Cuts that were put off as marketing ploys for later releases. In this case I will be so pissed if Fox holds back a DC.... and I'm pretty sure I won't be alone.

Most of the stuff we probably didn't see are somewhat alternate versions of the scenes in the movie and trimmed down scenes.

And I know I remember seeing Callisto smashing Storm's face into glass but don't remember it being in the film. That was probably trimmed out too.

It clearly shows Callisto smashing Storm against the glass. However they cut the part where Storm punches Callisto in the face in the final battle

There was probably a few takes of that line and they probably merged it in when Magneto says, "Will you join my brotherhood and fight..?" at the meeting...

I also say that there was more than one take of the "nothing can stop us line" because the way Ian says it in the commercial is not the same way that he says it in the theatrical version...It happens..

i have read all these posts and all i can say is... "DAMMIT ALL TO HELL!!!"

soooo much stuff was cut out. i don't know where to lay the blame on, but we better get one hell of a dvd!!! i saw the movie again yesterday and noticed some of the effects were off. i hope they can fix stuff up for the dvd and include EVERYTHING that was not in the theatrical release. of all the effects, i really hope they fix up Collosus when he's metalled up. cuz seriously, he looked like f***ing Silver Surfer!!! throw in the effects he had from X2. he looked ever so awesome there. this movie seriosuly has the Batman Forever effect, only not as horrible. so much stuff cut out i just hope we don't have to wait 10 years to get the unedited director's cut

I dont think theres deleted scenes. I think there are alternates like they say. Crews that make very fast films such as these tend to make sure scenes werent deleted but were taken care of before they were even filmed. I wish there was an extended se also. would be great.

They were in the lair for like 10 seconds in the movie but there were no close ups like the pics leaked long ago.

Movie stills are not frames from the movie - they're taken on set by a still photographer. Just because the photographer takes a close-up photo of an actor doesn't mean film footage was shot at the same angle. The same goes for a lot of photos.
