Leverage on TNT

I'm finally watching The Rashamon Job. God this is funny.

"I'm gonna sharpen this knife. Then walk around the halls. In the dark. Don't go anywhere."

"...oookay."

This week's episode was pretty solid, too. Apparently Sophie's a duchess? Who knew! :awesome:

at least one persona of hers is....least thats what i thought they said at the end of the epi....

wasn't too keen on how they portrayed the Brit police...

I thought the implication of the scene with the aunt was to show that it wasn't a cover identity. I mean, fake whatever you want, but I imagine it's pretty hard to conjure up living, breathing relatives just for a con.

^^
That was what confused me....

Well, at the end she also says "Charlotte" is just her "stage name," too. She doesn't outright deny that the duchess is her real identity, just that "Charlotte" isn't her real name. It seemed like the implication was definitely that the duchess was at least part of who she really was.

My theory:

Auntie is her mother, who's as much a grifter as she is. Neither of them are royalty for real, but adopt those personalities.

I have a question: Does Leverage Inc. own the pub downstairs now? The past couple of episodes have had them in there at all hours like they own the place.

I know Hardison owns the building, but I didn't know they had the run of the pub as well.

After they saved the late owner's daughter and current owner, I'm sure they can do almost whatever they want with the pub.

well I think having it blown up would be a no no :woot:

I don't know, giving Nate (and, as it seems, Sophie) the keys to your bar looks like a recipe for going out of business. :(

Haha, too true. It still surprises me that the rest of the team are just cool with Nate drinking again.

good news for us Brits.... Season 1 is released on Monday 6th Sept.. dunno how much it is tho...

I notice LEVERAGE has been renewed for a 4th season. YAY!!!

I've tried my best to get into this show but I find some of the characters to be just too damned annoying and just not funny. I understand the serious/semi-comedic tone they're going for but it's really only the lead character and the hot british chick who don't piss me off.

The so called "tough guy" with the long hair... annoying as ****.

Can someone recommend probably what they think is THE best leverage episode as I'd like to give this show a fair chance!

there are two episodes from the first season Id recommend....The Two Horse Job or the finale The First David Job/Second David Job

both episodes also have a character named Jim Sterling, who is kind of an evil version of Nate Ford

i can't think of a character on Leverage I don't like, glad to hear its back for Season 4

Fair enough, Sophie is actually my favorite character too.

The Juror #6 Job, The Bank Shot Job and the Rashamon Job are my favorites, because they stretch the usual format of the show into different territory.

Evil but inferior. :oldrazz:

I'm catching this show via Netflix. Just finished 2.8(disc 2) and should get the next disc tomorrow.

The show is fun and I liked the last ep I saw where Wil Wheaton was the other Hacker expert on the competing team.

My favorite new find is Beth Reisgraf(Parker), she has quickly become a favorite. Love her facial expressions and quirky portrayal of Parker.
