I can finally say this: #LOGAN is FANTASTIC. a true change of pace from typical 'superhero' films. James Mangold nails it.

@luckyturner totally sticks the landing. I felt same way about The Wolverine. Logan is legit, best onscreen characterization of Wolvie.

When they compare it to other Wolverine films it's not really telling. It's good to know it's better, but since the first film was pretty terrible and the second one was OK at best...

I thought the 2nd movie was really good, especially the R rated version, I think it's really under rated. So Logan being called a better movie is only a good thing in my eyes.

I don't get the hate for Origins either. Besides the "barakapool" abomination and the adamantium bullet, I thought it was good.

I didn't read the whole review, but the author puts Logan along with TDK, IM1, GotG and Deadpool. Masterpiece as a stand-alone X-Men film.

The top tweet being from a reporter covering Berlinale is very encouraging.

Also a lot of the usual writers and film journalists seem to be unusually interested in sharing their thoughts on Logan and or have long thoughts. Makes me anxious even though they all loved the first act.

Not normally because crappy movies typically don't get embargos lifted 2 weeks before the actual release. But the early reviews for Apocalypse and BVS were littered with positive & negative reactions

Holy hell, Logan is BAD***. Violent as ****. Perhaps the best X-Men movie yet? The action in Logan is better than the action in John Wick 2.

Most, if not all, of the positive reactions I remember seeing from Batman v Superman came from early fan screenings, rather than the actual critics screenings.
