Logan LOGAN - Early Reactions and Reviews Thread

The early fan screening was some hoax by a guy on Reddit, iirc.

Yes. My main point (cuz the other user is implying early reactions from journalists isn't good enough) that early reviews/reactions can still be negative. They're not always positive.

But the last time reviews were this positive, this early, was for DOFP

Good movie. Sort of like basically a Marvel Knights Wolverine story, or just a really dark AU/Elsewords future story for Wolverine.

Mangold basically made a modern Western/1980s era Clint Eastwood mash-up. Hugh Jackman channeling his inner Clint Eastwood as well.

IMHO not perfect, and not a game changer. I saw this as a very good swan song for Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. There are a couple things I didn't really like. Some vague details that didn't work for me. There's the return of a certain object I thought was dumb and wish it wasn't in there.

If I were to put this up against all the other movies in the X-Men franchise, would I say it's better than X-Men 2 or Logan? No.

You seen it?

Those two are by faaaar my two favourite Fox films and way up there for any superhero films so sounds good you think Logan was ahead of the rest!

Oh, God... [BLACKOUT]is it the adamantium bullet? [/BLACKOUT]

My guess is [BLACKOUT]Beast's power supressing serum.[/BLACKOUT]

X-Men 3 cure isn't in it. Beast's serum isn't in it.

I thought the 2nd movie was really good, especially the R rated version, I think it's really under rated. So Logan being called a better movie is only a good thing in my eyes.

The wolverine is second most underrated film in series after first X-men to me.the unrated version is better.i Understand why some didn't like third act but it didn't bother me

What would your overall rating be for the film?

Vile is probably talking about [BLACKOUT]X-24[/BLACKOUT].

I don't mind as long as it's done well.

A Wolverine clone is from the comics (Albert) so I don't mind the idea of X-24 but I wish we could have gotten a more classic face-off, even the return of Sabretooth.

The certain object returning is a shock. Not as dumb as last time, I heard.

Filmstarts (german website) says 22:15 CET. So in 13 minutes !!!
