It’s written by Steven Knight and produced by Ridley Scott and Tom Hardy, I’m not real shocked it’s weird and dark. The people behind this aren’t known for their affinity for light and fluffy material.

Oh ****, that is today. I should probably subscribe to Netflix or something.

anyone watching that FX A Christmas Carol movie?

sure is a dark, weird version and not for kids
I've recorded it but haven't watched it yet. :) Looks interesting.

I gifted myself a new pair of Jaybird Tarah Pro headphones today.

what can Santa Reek do for you this fine holiday

man, just started wrapping presents and don't want to anymore lol
i hate how i feel obligated to get gifts for people who i know aren't going to get gifts for anyone, or for people i don't see or hear from hardly throughout the year

That's one of the reasons my husband's family stopped gift giving. We get together for a meal and everyone has a stocking. Each of us buys candy and scratch tickets for the stockings so it's really quite fun. Usually somebody hits big. :) Better than buying gifts for people we don't know well.

i would prefer if we did something like that.

all i want for christmas is to sleep in and just relax. it's not a good day in my house

I am only buying gifts for my 2 year old niece. :D:

We do a gift exchange at work.

My manager loves all things Princess Bride. Last year she got a couple magnets and a coffee mug with quotes on them, and a wine glass (she likes her some wine). This year she's getting Cary Elwes' memoirs about the making of the movie. Her assistant manager got her the original book The Princess Bride by William Goldman.

The assistant manager is getting another adult-oriented coloring book (Disney princesses but far more complex illustrations geared toward adults), which she also got one of last year, and a set of colored pencils to go along with it.

The other assistant manager, as far as anyone can tell, has no interests, so he's getting a gift card to Buffalo Chicken Wings.

The other cashier is getting some face masks and lotion because she likes stuff like that, and a gift card to Panera Bread.

we did a gift exchange in our department, but we did secret santa and everyone picked one. we set a limit at $20

I just watched Kirk Cameron's, Saving Christmas. It is, without a shadow of a doubt, the worst movie I have ever seen. And I have seen, The Time Machine I Found at a Yard Sale.

Kirk Cameron and his brand of chiristianity are stuff I avoid like a virulent plague.

I started to watch it last night....got through around 15 minutes before I turned it off. I have around 10 different versions on DVD....and this is one I will pass on.
