I think I may have already accidentally murdered my new hard drive.
How?
It's f***ing weird. I have 1 TB of space but according to task manager I'm at 100℅ of my disk space. Took about 15 minutes to reboot and when I pulled up disk manager it shows my C drive is 54% free. F***ing technology.
select all... drag to the new folder... "are you sure you want to copy 10000000000000000000000000000 files to DJS CRAP STASH" click yes... wait for about 12 weeks... "complete"
That's a good question Alex, let's review. Click D my old drive to the new one and then had to use freeware to delete BS recovery partitions so I could expand the drive to the full amount. And then i proceeded to download about 80 GB non-stop which it did not seem to like very much. Thought my ISP was throttling me but I now realize it's running as if I have maxed out the space. Trying a reboot now.
I would have left the recovery partitions where they were. I'd also like the full amount of space but anything that says "recovery", I leave well alone.
I'll provide the guide DJ needs.
1) Get a good external hard drive.
2) Connect it to your computer and transfer your crap.
3) ?????
4) PROFIT!
Dually noted.

Dually? You noted it twice? Good.
When external hard discs stop working they troll you.
My first one stopped working on Windows, worked nicely on Mac for a while, months later it crapped out.
