That would make Reek an actual presidential nominee.

If I'm not mistaken it only cost like $100 to be a presidential candidate for the election. Now to get your name on all 50 ballots across the US is a different story. One of these days I'm going to run for president and write my own name in.

I think that one day a nominee should run the platform of "Bringing common sense back to politics!". It would terrify the people in power and make the voters interested.

"Don't you want to see your elected officials think about the things they do and why its a bad idea before they do them? Don't you want to have them stop doing such stupid things? Elect me for President and I'll smack the morons upside the head every time they do stupid **** and we'll make smart decisions."

I'm just waiting for American's to stop being so scared of the other party that most everyone blindly votes for "their team" because they think it's the lesser of two evils. If we had something going on like the Pirate Party does in Iceland that would give is fiscal conservatism while being liberal/progressive on societal issues it would be a game changer out here. Sadly everyone is so scared it will be a long while before anything like that comes to pass (if it ever does).

Hence my wanting of the Common Sense Party.

It could even be a parody and still probably be far more effective than the two big ones now.

On episode 3 of Luke Cage. Wondering if Frank Whaley's paper cut line was a deliberate Swimming with Sharks reference.

That is exactly what the Pirate Party started as in Iceland. Look them up, you'd love them.

You consider this to be common sense, but is it truly common?

I'm not part of suck circles, in case you need assurance. :D

Woah, calm down there Aziz! There's no need for hate speech or very descriptive terms here in the lounge. What two or more consenting adults do in the privacy of their homes is none of my business.

DJ didn't choose the ganado life, the ganado life chose him.

If only those numbers were true. :(

I know... I'm being modest... I'll get at least 4%

That would make Reek an actual presidential nominee.
And? I'd be far better than your other choices. Make another comment like that again and I'll put a ban on you.

I didn't have to pay anything. I just tossed in some tic tacs and worked my charm.

Halfway through Luke Cage now. Gonna take a break. It's very meh, isn't it?

Drop me some spoilers, Murphy in regards to what feels "meh." I haven't gotten Net Flix yet - is it trying too hard...playing it too safe...?

The dialogue's a bit ****, they drop too many references to the "Incident" (Netflixian for the Battle of New York (Whedonian for the fight between the Avengers and those alien soldiers who fell down at the end)), the tone's a bit messed up (a bit like Gotham). The acting's fine. It's just all a bit meh. I'm not really enjoying it. I'll probably be glad when I've finished it.
