I would figure the bigger concern with the AT&T assimilation would be the effect it has on their telecommunications customers. They also own Direct TV, right? So, in theory, they could go "Haha, eat it Comcast, no HBO for your customers unless you double your fee!", or something like that. There have been a lot of petty disputes like that lately, where customers lose out on channels for a spell because the mega companies bicker over pricing. Making the mega companies even bigger doesn't seem great.

But I'm Canadian, and all we have are a couple of mega companies. So I pay $1100 a month for dial up.

No, I told him he had till yesterday afternoon to get anything he wanted over to me. He sent me 20+ tracks at 11 pm and then gets pissy because I told him it's too late.

Since my job refuses to listen to me about what we should price certain electronics, I've made off like a bandit again.

I paid about $24 for 10 gamecube games, put it up for $70 on kijiji last night and I've gotten a dozen responses with one guy picking them up in an hour or so.

I've also picked up a bunch of 360 games and a few had more than one game inside due to not being dropped off in cases. I made sure the store owner knew ahead of time about the games and had them put aside for her to go through and decide what to do. She just slapped a price on them and the next day I grabbed them all for $3 each which means I got GTA5 for 360 for free.

I work retail in a thrift store. I do the heavy lifting, furniture moving and cleaning around the place. On the down side, it took a while before everything stopped hurting all the time. On the plus side, I'm in much better shape and I feel much better.

There's one other guy that is a gamer and I lend him whatever games I have he wants. Hell, he got a PS3 recently so I gave him access to my account since I don't play my PS3 anymore as I got a PS4 and I have 40+ digital games on the profile.

The store manager gets pissy if you mention you're selling the stuff you buy for profits so I try not to mention it.

People donate all sorts of stuff. We've got various things worth several hundred dollars but people think it's junk and give it away. Of course there's the opposite issue sometimes at my store. My Store manager gets obsessed over some junk and prices it way too high then gets mad when no one wants to buy it.
