Damn what's with all the food threads? Someone even found my old Oreo thread haha

Guys, I got the house to myself. Who wants to come and watch Star Wars?

Watching the sets from Glastonbury, and Blondie are bloody awful.

So last night there was a tree frog in the kitchen and my roommate was freaking out. I caught it and let it go outside. I was then told by her mom (from Venezuela) that I need to wash my hands due to the poison

Certain species of tree frog secrete poison from their skin.

Frogs be tricky, yo. Well it's a good idea to wash your hands after touching any wild animal, at any rate.

Is DJ still alive, BTW?

I'm still kicking. I don't think there are many poisonous frogs here in FL but I could be wrong. I remember playing with tree frogs all the time as a kid and didn't have anything happen because of it.

Don't you guys mean toads? Certain kinds do unleash poison

The only poisonous frogs in Florida are actually toads I think and those are kind you lick. Most of the poisonous tree frogs are found in Central and South America and only are poisonous because they eat poisonous insects.

Captive held or bred dart frogs can be handled bare-handed without getting poisoned although it can dry out their skin.

I have considered keeping them in the past myself so I've done a bit of research on them.

I want to get me some of those toads I can lick and trip balls. I would keep them and take good care of them

I've eaten frog before. And not just the legs, but the whole damn body the size of a bullfrog, when I was in Shanghai a few years ago.
