That man can party

Didn't he take human adrenaline? It's been so long since I read and watched Fear&Loathing. Indeed, Hunter could party...and write on politics.

You know you read it and loved it. :o

Exactly, because you stay up all night reading it. :woot:

Be gone from my presence with your inane babble, you simpering cur. :o

More like suffering from boredom, but what the hell. :o

your audio book put me to sleep and it wasn't even nap time.

Well clearly Eddy is blind, deaf and looking for human interaction that or you paid him to write it. :o

That's actually a really good idea. Since I probably won't watch Dawn in theaters, I could watch them all and watch Dawn for the first time. :yay:

The old ones are really good. They're all different types of movies as well, not just rehashes of the same ideas.

The book is rubbish though.

You mean the original novel? I keep forgetting it exists lol

Yeah, I've only seen the Mark Wahlberg and James Franco Planet of the Apes. I don't remember the Wahlberg one all that much, but I remember the ending soliciting a big WTF reaction from me.

As for Rise, I've pointed out multiple times that I found it amazing.

Yeh, the Boulle book. It has bits that were taken into all the films, but over all it's just really bloody dull. The BOOM! comics books are worth picking up though, I love those comics. The Dark Horse stuff set in the Burton Apes universe is ok, but not brilliant. Much like the Burton movie.

For me Rise is right up there with the first one. I have the 25th anniversary DVD I think it is.

Rise is so much more fun when you've seen all the other movies and you can watch it again and again to spot the little references. I'm really hoping for some more nice references from Dawn.

I loved doing that with Dawn. And also how it seems they've decided to reboot it in the middle of the original series. I thought that was cool.

It's very cool that we get to see the "proper" timeline for the first time ever. I'm wondering how far it can go with this series now.

I have no idea but I just can't wait :awesome:

The comics I picked up are the 5 parter from when the Burton movie came out. I remember cause I picked them up on the way out of town for a camping trip. Some of the first comics I ever owned.

I might have that same 5 parter. I got the 5 issues for £2 at a con. The Flash TV Special cost more lol.

LOL the Pilot for the John Wesley Shipp show? Saw that long time ago.

I picked it up a few issues at a time, we did a lot of camping that summer.

Yeh, DC did a special issue that had an episode run down and some behind the scenes stuff, as well as two stories set in the TV universe. Cost me £5, but totally worth it.

You should look up the BOOM! stuff, it's all set during the classic movies. It's a slow burner, but man does it get good.
