Does ramen instant noodles count as Asian food?
The biggest continent in the world, half of it is Russia, and people still attach the name to a small part of it.
I'm Asian, I'm Asian, and my food is not Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, or Philipino.

I am Russian or Indian then =P

Ya I don't like the generalized use of Asian, it's like us calling all white people Americans.

White people aren't white anyway, their peach or apricot or in some cases orange.

No I hate yellow Starburst, I dislike M&Ms and hate Skittles. And do I even want to ask how Gordon got in here?

For the record, so more people won't get confused, yet I'm tired of pointing this out. Whenever I use the :o emote, I am never serious.

And Gordon was brought up because J.K. Simmons voices the yellow M&M.

So Anthony Mackie said a Marvel movie TV crossover wont work.

Hmm. I remember DC getting a lot of flak because they didnt combine the TV and movie verse. Looks like Marvel is doing the same, except, DC is not falsely leading their fans on.

Well, there goes the chance of me seeing Tom Holland's Spider-Man square off against D'onofrio's Kingpin.

Also, Spider-Man and Daredevil teamup.

Edit: So, is AoS still connected to MCU ?

Or, maybe there are 3 separate Marvel 'universes' in existence right now. :funny:

But... but... It's all CONNECTED. :o :o

While I'm fine if the DC and DCCW stuff doesn't crossover, part of me would still like it if the idea was thrown in that their universes exist in the same multiverse. Or something as minor as Gustin's Barry Allen possibly meeting Ezra Miller's Barry Allen in the speed force.

Pipe dream, I know, but I'd be fine with even the smallest connection that wouldn't have to impact either the shows or films.

This.

Actually I want Marvel Studios to do the crossover in some capacity and DC to stay way from doing it altogether. I don't want cursory mentions that doesn't affect a damn thing. Keep the DCEU and the DCCW/DCTV separate. Keeps things interesting for me. A connected Universe (Marvel) and a Multiverse (DC).

That'll only happen when Feige and Perlmutter don't have beef with one another. Plus, I think in Marvel's case, the greater universe has moved beyond things like SHIELD. With Ultron, the Guardians, Doctor Strange, and the Infinity Guantlet, SHIELD itself feels like a remnant of Phase 1 and some of Phase 2.

And the Defenders stuff probably wouldn't even be a blip on the Avengers' radar, especially when all that stuff, right now, is contained between Harlem and Hell's Kitchen. Not much the films need to acknowledge as far as the shows go right now. Especially when it's just Jeph Loeb who said the whole 'It's all connected' stuff when no one in the films said that. Heck, even the Civil War writers didn't know about the Inhumans stuff SHIELD had been doing.

Just saw this on twitter :

Critics take any chance they get to mention Zack Snyder. He is the man, hands down. Dude's iconic. Love or hate him, people cant stop talking about him. He has touched pop culture in such a way, his work has really struck a nerve.

As for the critic who wrote this, here's something for you :

Interesting.

Anyway, I'm not against mentioning the TV side of the MCU in the Movie side of the MCU and vice versa. They are fun little things to pick up on. What I would like for the showrunners to show is that how the emergence of the Avengers changed the lives of the folks in the MCUTV or at least show how it affacted the heroes or their associates. I understand that the makers need to tell good stories for the titular character before anything else and there won't be any time to show what I just mentioned so I say don't bother with the ''It's connected'' theory.

If Elizabeth Banks wasn't involved with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, I think chances are she'd get a call for DCEU.

Well, they've sort of touched on that at least with Jessica Jones where one woman blamed Jessica for the Battle of New York and everything the Avengers did even though Jessica wasn't involved.

But a missed opportunity, I feel, is how no one in Luke Cage brings up at least once that The Incredible Hulk's final battle with Abomination took place in Harlem.

Can AoS (and other TV shows) be connected to Netflix Marvel shows ?

Possibly? See, weird thing is Jeph Loeb had Gerry Conway- one of the minds behind The Punisher- with him at New York Comic Con and said there would be an explanation for this in the rest of SHIELD's current season...as if the implication is that Frank Castle would appear on Agents of SHIELD.

But from what I've seen and heard, references to the Netflix series have been small or underplayed: such as a news crawl about the gang wars in Hell's Kitchen or someone on SHIELD using a Judas bullet that was first introduced on Luke Cage.

So they feel more like winks and nods to those who watch the Netflix series, but to the general audience, they may not even notice.

Good point. I was originally going to write about it in my earlier post. It would have been great to know the perception of the events of TIH in Luke Cage.

I think I commented on being disappointed that it wasn't directly referenced, but I did comment on how joyful I was to see homages paid to it at least.

Rewatched IM1 today. Still an amazing movie. Marvel's hasnt topped that since imo.

The worst thing that happened to legit film criticism is when they let the fanboys in. There's a guy literally *****ing about a film made 25 years later not being enough like some poorly budgeted show from the 90's.

My God. Fire these people... just fire them. They have no business critiquing film. I don't give a rat's infected ass about Power Rangers, but if were paid to critique that movie I'd do so based on the film right in front of me and not a TV show from back when I still had cartoon characters on my underwear.
