Naaa just scrap the whole idea. Or at least make it more integral in the other characters arcs. That's the thing that annoys me most about BvS, all the characters seem to be doing their own thing alone until the 3rd act.
Lois is alone off in DC, Clark is all alone, Bruce and Alfred are alone, same with Lex. It would've been great to have those characters subplots mesh together a bit. Like, have Lois and Clark working on both the bullet and Batman together. Have Lex working with Bruce more and manipulating him from close quarters instead of writing on stuff with a red pen. Hell even have Lex take Clark under his wing!

Well in my BvS into two films idea I did think about having Lex Jr and Superman be on friendly terms until **** hits the fan.

Bruce and Lex working together on a project I like a lot. Aswell as Lois & Clark working together, that just seems a no brainer.

Yeah that's what pisses me off the most I think. Iron Man 1 he gets his by a tank missle and launched into the ground and is okay, in Civil War, he gets a couple of cars on top of him and breaks his arm.

Oh and I can't stand how they took away the arc reactor in him. Why do that?! It was handled so poorly.

I hate how they turned the "genius who can do anything" nob up to an eleven. We're told not to even question the logistics of how he can fill the huge gaping hole in his sternum where the reactor was. Who cares. He's Tony Stark. He's got an IQ of 985. He's basically Jesus. realism be damned.

Yeah it just makes more sense for the characters to actually interact instead of brooding about each other on other sides of the city.....FOR TWO YEARS! I think that's the thing that pissed me off the most to be honest. No way in hell should've the film been set 2 whole years after MoS.

When would you have set it?

I think I'd have had it a few months after MOS. Metropolis rebuilt and the unveiling of the Superman statue.

I still think it would've been awesome if it started literally as Man of Steel ended, so we got all the characters fresh off the Black Zero event. But yeah, a few months would've been a whole lot better than 2 years.

Well I don't know how much time passed between him killing Zod and the moment he arrived at the Daily Planet. I'm assuming it was months later but I could be wrong.

Work colleague went to an advance screening of Baby Driver. Can't wait to see it next week. :hmr:

Watched "The Spectacular Now" which someone here recommended.

Cringy. ****** dialogue. Unlikable characters. Miles Teller was horrible. The first act was cliched, the second one a half decent romance story, the last one was good-ish.

These are the kind of "coming-of-age" movies I hate.

I'm not quite feeling Baby Driver yet but I will go see what the fuss is all about.

With Kevin Spacey in it I got just a little hint of 21 ish vibe from the trailers.

Phil Lord and Chris Miller wanted to inject more humor into the storyline, something Kasdan did not appreciate.

Predictable but bravo :wowe:

Two 'baby' films this year, Boss Baby and Baby Driver. :o

Disney hack #1- how do we sell more Iron man toys?
Disney hack #2- a half painted mark 46.
Disney hack #1- that's.... brilliant.

Oh please tell me this isn't real. Not only is it pointless but it's freakin ugly. I'm so peeved this doesn't seem like a Spidey film anymore.

Ultimate armor inspired color scheme.
Kinda reminds me of the one Tony wore when he took down Obediah Stane in Iron Man 200; The Silver Centurion.

Patty Jenkins is retweeting the most adorable stuff atm

If viewed as a pimped up Robocop rather than a ****ed up Ironman...I quite like it.

Following early successes, Wright hit a couple speed bumps. He first turned his eye toward “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World,” a Universal Pictures collaboration that disappointed at the box office. Along the way he was developing “Ant-Man,” a bit of a dream project. But eventually he had to step away from that.

“The most diplomatic answer is I wanted to make a Marvel movie but I don’t think they really wanted to make an Edgar Wright movie,” Wright says. “I was the writer-director on it and then they wanted to do a draft without me, and having written all my other movies, that’s a tough thing to move forward. Suddenly becoming a director for hire on it, you’re sort of less emotionally invested and you start to wonder why you’re there, really

After relaunching the franchise, which had taken damage from the critical reception of the Star Wars prequels, and building not just an acclaimed new saga with The Force Awakens but kicking off a series of stand-alone films with Rogue One, Kennedy felt she had earned her galactic bona fides: The directors should give her the benefit of the doubt and follow her concept of what the Star Wars movie should be

To be fair my wife and friend thought SW7 and RO were meh, but who knows, they're milking a lot of $$

fan-made catwoman character poster in the vein of the Suicide Squad ones we got last year
