Another reason I hope Fox never gives them the rights to Xmen.

Yeah and why should they? Fox are the ones who actually got an X-Men film made in the first place.

I know people moan sometimes that they want a more comic accurate version. But X-Men is a major successful franchise and when they reboot they can go back to its comic book roots then. They have actually left themselves a great option open by doing it the way they did.

The SM:H early reactions are extremely positive. Everyone is praising the movie. It's already a favorite Spidey film (favorite MCU movie for some) for many critics. The high-school stuff is being praised a lot and everyone agrees that the movie is a lot of fun.

Good stuff . In some ways I'm hoping Holland apes Gal's impact in his first full outing. The guy has a lot of charm and personality, which has been sorely lacking from Spider-man performances in the past imo.

I have got a hot take, ya'll. I saw my first Transformers movie, it's the most reviled one (or is it ROTF, I'm not sure) until The Last Knight came along.

I Loved it. I actually really liked Age of Extinction. Michael Bay can direct epic action like no one else's business. There are still parts of it that I just can't get myself to like but the overall end product satisfied me.

What you're saying here is true.

I hope they go for broke in some of their future movies and give us some real tension. I still like the MCU movies for the most part, they are good entertainment but they need to up the ante for the future in terms of stakes. I'll welcome that change.
