Some of my favourite movies while growing up that I always used to watch with my family were Home Alone,Ace Ventura,Baby's day out etc.When I checked their RT ratings I was surprised(maybe not so much they arent masterpieces,they are slapstick comedy,but they are pretty damn enjoyable),but then again critics have always been harsh against comedies.

Btw I love Dan Brown's writing.I am however unconvinced how well they could be translated into movies(there is so much information and so many twists :P ),I am yet to see the movies.I would love for Inferno to be adapted on screen.

Edit : I just checked,its going to be adapted.Movie is out this winter.

I've never read the books. I either watch the movie or read the book. Never both. What's the point of watching the movie when I know what's going to happen ? t: Tried watching two "Hound of the Baskervilles" movies after reading the book - got bored to death.

Yep, "Inferno" is coming out this year. They were supposed to make "The Lost Symbol" first, but it never happened.

I read Angels and Demons and thought it was amazing but the movie based on the book was really underwhelming, it just didn't do anything for me. The tension that I felt reading the whole stuck in the library part or any other critical situation in the book was just not there in the movie. Ewan McGregor was given nothing to do in the movie whereas Camerlengo Carlo Ventresca was such an important character in the book. Some books just don't translate well into movies.
