To be fair, looking at yellow for two hours was somewhat wearying.

Looking at gray is more of a chore to me.
The more colorful people and clothes lie center screen most of the time, helped making it easier to sit through all the yellow.

Just watched The Revenant. The damn cinematography was beautiful. :hmr:

Hardy was alley as usual. :sly:

It did have that blue-ish night sequence because yay for orange-blue complementary colors. But yes, halfway through I've gotten bored of it.

Maybe it's because car chases never did anything for me. I don't find them particularly interesting or exciting. Apparently, only Brian De Palma and I feel that way. I liked the characters, but the novelty of an elongated, action-packed car chase wore off so thin.

It's just a blockbuster disguised as an art-house for non-arthouse people- in the same vein (and vain) as Only God Forgives, Lost River, Shame, etc- save the action element obviously. Though, Fury Road is the most enjoyable out those pretentious gimmicks.

I never liked these post-apocalyptic movies. The yellow/orange look, the weird cars made from scrap, the dirty clothes etc. They're depressing to me. The only one I kinda liked as a kid was "Cyborg" with Van Damme. Still have it on a VHS. "Fury Road" is something unique, though. I love it. The knightmare scene from BvS is something that I'd watch too. It looks amazing.

Wow.

Just saw teaser for Jude Law's Young Pope hbo series.

Absolutely fantastic and will gather a lot of hate from religious folks. I cannot wait.

Written and directed by Paolo Sorrentino. Watch YOUTH if you haven't already.

Question

Anyone here hope that WB/DC make superhero solo game that isn't Batman or batman universe centric?

Just asking now because I recently heard some rumors that another Batman open world type game is in devolpment (not necessarily an another Arkham game).

They are (were?) working on Suicide Squad too.

No.

Batman is the only that should have amazing video games. Supe fans can still enjoy that N64 game of him going through cheerio rings and whatnot.

WB Montreal are developing a Superman game.

Is that rumor or fact? Because I've been dying to see one done properly (not that I have high hopes they will, but it's high time Supes gets another shot)
