My favorite line from the show was: Maybe you've seen TimeCop, which is like Looper starring Bruce Willis, but like a million times better.

:funny:

There are many times where I bite my tongue on these forums. Most of the time, engaging in a back and forth simply isn't worth the effort. It'd become a flame war, and I'm not interested in investing myself in that. Pages and pages of quotes and such. People always want to have the last word, and when they do, that apparently equals a victory. So it goes on. So a lot of people just choose to be quiet.

Sir/Ma'am you have my respect.

I just skip every post from anyone who I dislike or disrespect. It makes my visits here happier and briefer.

You're a wise man.
Internet is unnecessarily serious business too often.

It's tougher when these same people have similar interests' to you and keep posting in the same threads.

This politically correct re-casting of established roles needs to stop.

Okay, change of subject, but .... I want to read up on Wonder Woman before her solo film. Can anyone suggest good comics/graphic novels for me?

Might as well start with Rebirth #1 and then WW #1-6. Rucka has been doing a great job. Nicola Scott's and Liam Sharp's art has been beautiful.

From a narrative standpoint it's a great place to come in because they're retelling her origin which might as well be the definitive one. They're also telling a modern day story. They alternate from issue to issue.

Anything by George Perez is good. And I liked Azzarello's new 52 run too. I'd recommend it. And the Rebirth story is not bad. The art alone is worth it.

BLOOD FATHER was so damn good. Grizzly Mel aint f****** around.

In my top 10 films of this year, easily.

Thanks for the recommendations, guys and gals. I've been reading Jill Lepore's book on the history of Wondy, and realizing I no very little beyond the cartoons and 70s show. Gotta do some homework. The fun kind.

Word. Caught that last weekend. It's basically Taken with a heart except Mel is an ex-con instead of a CIA agent.

I do like Time Cop more than Looper.
Time Cop sequel looks boring.

Time Cop haven't seen that in a long time, so I can't really compare the two.

Eh, I'll take Looper any day. Though, Mia Sara was quite something back then. :ilv:
