Aight! You nerd bastahs.

Here is a list of my huge comic haul (considering i aint a cb guy):

Wonder Woman Rebirth #1
Batman Rebirth # 1
Deathstroke Rebirth #1
Astonishing Xmen vol.1-3
Batman: The Black Mirror
All Star Superman
Kingdom Come

These were recommended by the staff there so...

Saga vol#1
Monstress vol 1

When you've got a little less on your plate, look into Deadly Class. It's the goods.

I cant wait for MIllar's REBORN:

Absolutely. Day 1 buy. But also because I freaking adore Capullo's art.

Saga is great. I read the first issue of Monstress and loved it, but I'll wait for the trades for that series. Deadly Class is indeed great and I'd also recommend Southern Bastards. If you like some 80's Spielberg (E.T., Goonies...), check out Paper Girls.

And check out Lady Killer from Dark Horse if you want to read about Jackie Kennedy being Dexter in a Mad Men setting. Joëlle Jones's art alone is worth it.

For Batman, I would recommend The Long Halloween, Dark Victory, The Killing Joke, Year One, Dark Knight Returns and Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on a Serious Earth. The New 52 stuff was good too (ie Court of Owls, Death of the Family, Zero Year and Endgame).

All-Star Superman is where it's at, my friend.

Decided to give The Conjuring 2 a shot. Who actually finds this s*** scary?! I thought it was hilarious.

That old geezers weezy voice and the Marilyn Manson nun. GTFO! :lmao:

Eh, different strokes for different folks.

I personally enjoyed the movie, along with the first one.

I've seen people say the same thing about "The Blair Witch Project". I guess no movie can be scary if you watch it in day time with birds chirping outside, kids playing etc.

Stay classy, Variety. Stay classy...

And this is what internet journalism has de-evolved to.

Clickbait titles. Bravo.

I rewatched Civil War a few days ago.

Yup.

I have grown cynical and bored of the cbm genre. Airport scene did nothing for me this time.

Sad lawd.

I'm just holdin on to the genre cause DC is still new and JL for the first time, and WW as well, but i'm fine catching most of these films later on hbo or redbox.

I only saw CW once and thought it was okay, but nonetheless overrated. Same for the airport scene. Winter Soldier is the better movie.

I agree that Winter Soldier is the superior film, though Civil War remains the best superhero film this year (so far).

Civil War is a pos film. End of story. The only Marvel stuff worth a damn lately are the Netflix shows.

I loved Civil War on first viewing, however on second viewing about a week ago.. the film doesn't hold up as well.

It has some of the same problems I had with Avengers, it's fun the first time, but there are some plot issues and character motivation issues that weigh it down on repeat viewings, Iron Man's and the governments stance is poorly backed up, honestly I think had they only mentioned the incident the film starts with, and not New York or Sokovia (the government actually almost made New York a worse disaster, and Sokovia ironically only proves that Tony needs to be kept in check), it would have made a lot more sense to me, and Cap goes out of his way to escalate the situation, not to mention the lack of motivation behind a lot of the characters at the airport scene with them being shoehorned in to get as many characters as possible into it. Civil War would've benefited from a somewhat smaller scale, where they spent less time worrying about fitting in a bunch of characters, and more time making sure that the plot and characters all made sense after the spectacle wore off.

Black Panther was awesome in it though.
