Anyone else just feel meh about Daniel Craig's Bond run?

One great film and the rest are just meh to okayisssh. Also, the Bond fandom is even more nitpicky than cb fans. lol

I'm kinda disappointed that he is back and we arent starting fresh. The last film he was starting to show his age.It does not make sense to me to bring Craig back knowing you will have to reboot/recast the character 4 years from now. I also always wanted to see a much younger Bond on film, but even the age thang is not accepted by Bond fans. He must be very late 30s or in his 40s! lol

Well, then Cavill will be the right age by the time of recast :woot: :o

He doesnt look that bad, but him kissing Léa Seydoux felt out of place for me. lol

Yeah, that isshh had "creepy old man" written all over, that and how Bond grew increasingly "rape-y" with the series.

Jeez peeps, Daniel Craig is 49, not 69 and Léa Seydoux is 32. I don't think "creepy old man" is really the right way to describe the whole thing. I still think that Monica Bellucci should've been the main love interest though. Any perceived "creepiness" factor between Craig and Seydoux would've been gone then.

Just stumbled onto a 'new' episode of Justice League Action. It's 4am

Cartoon Network has to be trolling with this timeslot, right?

I have no idea why people knock his hairstyle in BvS so much. I thought it looked fantastic. It gives him such a mature, elegant look.

In between movies Cavill's hairline has receeded a fair amount.

How it used to be:

how it became (circa BVS):

The fact that his hair is combed back so aggressively and given that very flat, wet look just accentuates the high hairline too much for some people's tastes. He just looks balding. With a normal hair-do it wouldn't stick out so much. I've come to appreciate it too but yeah I can see how a portion of us (formally including me) found it unsettling

You can literally draw an S along his hairline, that's subconscious dedication right there.

For me, the geled down hairline plus the extra thickness he packed on just made his face look a little round sometimes.

Same goes for his chest hair, back hair, toe hair and pubes.

Dude, that was just my gut reaction when I saw it in the movies, it just felt "off", I have absolutely nothing against relationships with huge age gaps; I also thought that Lea Seydoux was much younger, my bad.

But it is true that Bond's usually aggressive, "take charge" approach to the bangidy-bang (which plenty of women find appealing) crossed the line into rapey through the series, it was just kind of uncomfortable to see.

Apparently IT is scaring the s*** out of the critics based on their twitter reactions, wonder if tweet embargo lifted as early as the likes of WW.

Shame it seems the director and JLD didn't work out.

The age gap awkwardness ended when the French Prince Charming became the president.

There were two offensive things about Seydoux/Craig and neither of them was an age gap:

1) the fact Monica Bellucci was in the movie and yet this chick got more screentime than her
2) their total lack of chemistry
