Another TV hero, another leather jacket

I'm watching TDK trilogy, Mos, BvS (UC) and then JL all in the same day (hopefully)

In my warped mind, all of those movies are all part of one big epic story. :woot:

For a proto suit it isn't half bad, the overall shape of the head is a nice start (the nose, cheeks cand chin cut really remind me of the Bale cowl) and the jacket works well for the stage he is in. What really bugs me about the leather thing with tv heroes is that they go there and stay there acting like that is the best thing they could use, so I expect Bruce to evolve beyond a leather jacket at some point to something more protective like modifying and using one of the numerous Kevlar vests his father has in the soon to be batcave.

Who is this character trying to be like Bat...?
Wait, that is Batman. He kinda looks like a character from Kick-Ass.

TDK trilogy alone is 7 hrs 30 minutes, credits for all three movies included. I think you'd do better watching them in two days.

Wouldn't be surprised if he is wearing the Kevlar underneath. I need to catch up...lost interest at some point in season 3.

So after playing Injustice 2 (which is an incredible game and a great storyline) i've been curious and dove into the graphic novels based on the games since I heard they were good. Usually comic books based on video games on throwaway filler.

Wow. Man, I was not prepared for how good these books are. This may sound like hyperbole but this is some of the best DC I've ever read. The Injustice books are dark and bleak and tragic but really powerful and raise some incredibly complex moral questions (and there's some great art too). It's like they took Marvel's Civil War concept and took it a step further. I'm only on "Year 1 vol. 2" but so far, I actually find myself siding with Superman on this whole thing, or rather, sympathizing with him in his...proactive quest to make the world a safer place (even though I know he'll become much more of a villain down the line). The circumstances leading to this are so tragic and I really feel his pain and anguish and understand where he is coming from...but I know ultimately Batman is probably right, cause isn't Batman ALWAYS right? :p

I highly recommend these books to anyone who hasn't read them. I'd be curious to hear people's thoughts on the concept of this story and how the characters are portrayed.

First two years of Injustice - Gods Among Us are totally amazing, it's among the best things I've ever read. It's even far better then all those classics people generally rave about as far as I’m concerned. Cannot recommend it enough.

Injustice League Superman is amazing to me.

You also kill two birds with one stone! You get rid of Lois and make Superman interesting. lol

He looks like Kick Ass and Red Mist combined together.

Just to post it here

Wanda's boss was allegedly stopped at the airport when he was trying to leave the country with his family

He has been under the govt's radar for the last month, as he tried to get his (or co-owned by govt) funds overseas.

Whether it's the CHN govt beating up on prominent businessmen, or the Chinese economy is coming to a cross road (Wanda would be like the 4th big businessman trying to transfer funds overseas lately), their influence on Legendary and WB's gonna be very interesting for the next few months/years.

^ I'm sure it would, the shadow from the nose and the low image quality are probably just obscuring it.

It was some crap with Dafoe and faceless witches because women are all evil and Lars has problems. It was all just reprehensible which is the word I only use for Von Trier's films. And Kick-Ass.

But I love Kick-Ass. :csad:

She got some meat on her now. I likey!

So is we gonna act like she didnt rip off those ''I'm too sexy for my shirt song guys'' now? That hook is beat for beat the same. I would smash of course, but her fandom would not be happy with her dating a brotha, just a feeling. lol
