God why are you not letting me watch this Jason video? :funny:? Really? :funny:

Even Hola ain't helping

Looks like Disney caved and they'll be restoring screening access to the LA Times. I suppose even The Mouse doesn't like bad press with news of organizations joining the boycott.

The Walt Disney Company has blinked in its standoff with the Los Angeles Times, caving to immense criticism after the studio denied critics and reporters from the publication access to advance film screenings.

“We’ve had productive discussions with the newly installed leadership at The Los Angeles Times regarding our specific concerns, and as a result, we’ve agreed to restore access to advance screenings for their film critics,” Disney said in a statement to the New York Times.

On Friday, the LA Times reported that Disney had blocked its writers and editors from previews in retaliation for the paper’s reporting on Disney’s business dealings with the city of Anaheim.

But not in Ragnarok. Oh man... Blanchett, Mikkelsen, Russell, all wasted on shallowly written villains.

Mikkelsen was probably the most savaged of the bunch. Russell wasn't too bad, but yeah Blanchett was pretty rough.

It's almost as if you didn't read the rest of my post... :o

Man, Mikkelsen is such an insanely talented actor and I found him to be the one genuinely funny part of the movie ("Mr. Doctor")...but if his being wasted in the MCU means that he could potentially show up in the DCEU, well.... :woot:

Maybe as a certain Ra's Al Ghul, perhaps....??? :sly:

That was the only good part of the movie.

You guys still haven't seen the above videos?

I'm surprised Hela is MCU's first female villain like really surprised it took them this many movies. I watched Ragnarok yesterday. Cate Blanchett stole the movie, IMO.

I can see though upon further inspection of the character how some might say she was hollow/generic. What I would've liked to see were more attempts at her trying to reason with
her brothers. There was no emotional resonance for Thor and Loki when she died because the sister aspect wasn't played up at all - she was just your typical villain.

Is he talking about this area again?! Did I understand that right?

That's like the third video with this kind of filthy talk :funny:

Henry wouldn't have guessed otherwise :sly:
