Just watched the first episode of The Chi on Showtime, which I only mention because it was directed by Rick Famuyiwa. While I haven't seen Dope and have no idea what he would've brought to The Flash, if there ever still is a Cyborg film, he'd be a good pick for it

That aside, it's also a very impressive pilot and good start to the show. Has a vibe very similar to The Wire, with less focus on the drug game anyway.
