Man of Steel was divisive but still well received movie (RT Average score of 6.2/10 is not bad at all) , I consider it to be a very well made movie. BvS is a great movie but I think it's not for everyone. So, if Aquaman is received well (which seems to be the case and I fully expect it to do well)

We would have a great solo movie collection -

MoS, WW and Aquaman.

Now, they have to make sure that the ensemble movies do well. So far they have under-performed (BvS, SS, JL)

Edit: Correction, SS over-performed but it's critical reception was not great.

They will respond to it just fine as long as it's well written and technically competent. The 'R' rating wouldn't be a hindrance on the quality of the movie.

Not gonna lie, I'd give BOP major props if it was the first mainstream CBM to have a full on sex scene. Im not counting Watchment. Lol
