My sister here in Mexico worked last year with a guy that grew up there and had the chance to leave the country and the stories of how the live are heartbreaking, also 2 days ago one Venezuelan guy killed a woman in Ecuador (i think) and people there were kicking the venezuelans living there and burning them things.

The things this people live in its home country and other countries are really sad.

oh what's happening there? i remember they were ruled by a dictator for ages, is it going to be the new Syria, Egypt or becoming a modern free nation?

Havent read everything, he is the leader of the opposition there and he was declared the president of Venezuela since January 5 BUT Maduro dont recognize it, from what i've seen in twitter a lot of countries are standing for Guaidó recognizing him as the President, even Wikipedia and Facebook erased Maduro and put him as the president

Maduro already broke the diplomatic relationship with US or at leas that's his intentions while the White House is making pressure against Maduro, i think they might get involve IF Madure use force to stay in power

We are definitely within the DCEU world. Everything that has happened - again, you should ask the people above me about some of these things - but the bulk of... I think since the Man of Steel, all of that has really happened in our world. Freddy is more the comic book--not just comics, he is the superhero aficionado. That guy is all about it. Funny how they emphasize on the "shared universe" part instead of going "oh nononono it's all standalone, we're all about director visions blah blah blah"

granted the interviews were taken last year but they're still released and the marketing continue to pay homage to what came before

No biggie but I think Emmerich should have been more clear as this is a shared universe but everyone's standalone in their own corners doing their own things etc, PR to sell it differently to Marvel I guess, but not truly reflecting your upcoming films
