Nah, to me it reads like he doesn't know who Batman is, but likes Armie Hammer for the role. So he is going to use whatever ''clout'' he has to get folks to click on his site, which they did. He seems to be bracing for the hit, but he went for it, so he has this vibe of we should give him props for that. People need to chill with the whole marketing thing. The movie comes out in APRIL. There is so much time to promote the thing. Infinity War comes out a few weeks after and theres no marketing for that either. They dont need to be like Sony who likes to spam the marketing for movies 3 months out until youre just exhausted and have damn near seen the whole thing already before the movie even comes out.

Even though they absolutey will not do this, what would guys think if DC just said F it and Matt Reeves was making a retro 1940’s Batman pulpy noir film instead of a modern day one? Lawd, I’d be all over that like butter on toast...but it might alienate the GA. Thoughts?

That would be an unbelievably best case scenario for me

WB should be making that kind of outside the box stuff with their DC film properties. Would be a game changer imo.
