That first episode of Doom Patrol was awesome! I got the feels and everything, then again I knew I liked it since their Titans episode and the trailer sold me on it.

I have a question for those who've read the comics and seen the show; I bought the DP book by Gerard Way and Nick Derington a while ago, I just didn't get around to read it just yet, and I think I've heard this show is heavily influenced by that one, so for those who've read it and watched the show, which would should I go with first?? In terms of surprises being spoiled and whatnot, what do you think??

I would advise not reading Gerard Ways Doom Patrol before reading Grant Morrisons. Ways run is very much a love letter to the earlier series, and relies heavily on characters and stories from Morrisons.

Also, while I like the recent run, Morrisons is far superior.

It appears that Captain Marvel is online, judging by tumblr gifs. That 'it's loading' moment with Science Guy's reaction filled with disbelief is still one of the funniest scenes this year

yea, its not enough for me to get a subscription, but i have seen some clips and all do look good, esp doom patrol.
and lot of reviews i read been saying titans and doom patrol have been good.

Probably because of the Wan backing and it being written/co-created by the guy who wrote both IT movies and 4 Conjuring Universe films. Gave it a lot of leeway I would think

Maybe they'll just finish the first season the way they did Titans lol, it's not like they haven't messed up the final episodes before.
