Lounge of Justice - Part 90

Glad to hear that!

Man, I've been through heaven and hell (mostly hell :funny:). Ended up in the mental asylum. The place was so depressing that during the admission I put on the happy face (quite naturally since the whole situation was so funny and silly - like those people passing around me there, fricking lunnies, saying really deranged and weird things, some were even locked in cages!), and I said the concerns of the doctor who sent me were highly exaggerated, so I could sign the discharge papers and get the f out of there. :funny:

It was kinda scary. They can of course keep you there against your will if the doctor thinks you are dangerous for others or yourself. I was examined in the ward that was all locked, it felt like I was in one of those asylum horror movies. What an experience. But all the doctoresses involved were fabulous, had a really nice chat with them. Now I'm on some various pills that make me sleep all day and night long, the doctress I now have is a nice person. I even asked her about DMT but she told me the law prevents her to talk to me about things like that. :funny: Said I should contact our national institute from these things.

It's fricking weird watching Joker and seeing yourself in the character. You're like...

:funny:

Of course I would never hurt anybody, but otherwise... Honestly I was pretty shocked when the doctor said she pities me and that I should prepare myself for having a rather complicated and unpleasant life. Me, literally: :wow:

So now officially both my physical and mental health suck. :funny: Otherwise, everything's quite normal. No job, I'm loitering around, tweeting release the snyder cut, reading some books. The usual no future stuff.

I'm really glad to see you and some other guys here. :yay:

sorry you had to go thru all that.
keep at it and i hope it all goes well for you.
a day at a time. :yay:

Someone knew I have First Blood 2 lined up to watch.
The first film is a masterpiece, all the others, not so much, to put it mildly. But at least FB2 still has a score by Goldsmith with one of the best action tracks ever.

None of these modern composers can even remotely touch this.

Kinda sounds like Robocop theme.

I think the composer for Superman: Doomsday took a lot of inspiration from this theme for the fight of Superman vs Superman. (Underrated movie)

Which reminds me...

WTF is going on with The Batman?

I want the fricking Batfleck uber flick.

I didn't want Reeves to write and direct it. Didn't want Pattinson to play Bruce/Batman. And hated the idea of Giacchino scoring it... And what have I got?.. :funny: Jeez. How's one supposed to stay sane after this? :funny:

One would think it's 21 century, everything is nice and modern, but man, such a weird atmosphere was looming there, no matter how they've repaired those buildings.

And when you see those cages and those guys keeping order there. They can take you, put under the lock and you can't do anything. Does not feel nice a bit.

I wanted him for a solo as well, but it looks like the time to move on is here.

You can at least be glad you have your BvS.

Was the building a formerly abandoned manor like Arkham. lol

@Da-Scribe Hi, Scribe! How do you do? :cwink:

Good to see you back bud but sorry to hear about your experience. Seems like you’re taking it on the chin though which is....well let’s just say I wouldn’t handle it so well haha.

But I’m good. Did some writing but took a break to focus on my day job. Training for a marathon. Getting ready to pop the question. Found out I’m high risk for some mental health issues myself though so trying to find time with a therapist.

Overall I’m finding joy in life. I’m not poor anymore so that helps haha.

It's this complex of buildings deep in a forested park. Must have looked way more depressing before they renewed it.

It's the beauty of Eastern European architecture I guess. And some people tell us we've got no culture. lol On a serious note, I'm glad you survived all that and wish you nothing but the best in the future. Tough times breed better people.

Wow, congrats! Hope you'll get the answer you wish for. :yay:

I've had these mental issues for a decade but it piled up big time during these few months. But without that one kinda doesn't really deal with that, until it's rather too late, you know how it goes. Good you are wiser than me.
I'm joking about it all because, I'm kinda like that. But what I had to endure during one period was quite ugly and crazy.

Being in a good physical shape and having money makes things always better. Should try that myself. :D

What did you write?

Breh forreal. I moved to LA with nothing and continued to have nothing for 5 years. Been a grind, but finally feeling like I can breathe. The paranoia of losing it all is real though. I stare at my bank account the way Batfleck stares at the Batsuit.

Thank you! Man, I'm so glad to see you. Some people here actually brought some nice joy into my life.

Should live it up until those other guys show up making me leave again. :hehe:

What an absolute quack to tell you something like that. I'm glad you are doing better.
