Prometheus and Alien: Covenant were flawed but good in parts, as for the fan complaint that scientists / people behaved like morons in those movies, I think that was on purpose, it's not that far from reality, we have seen enough of that in 2020.

I know the poster and the trailers said "from Ridley Scott" but he just directed the first two episodes. The creator, show runner and the main writer is Aaron Guzikowski.

I know, but it still doesn't mean that he did a bad job directing those episodes from what I've heard.

I'm not saying Scott didn't do a great job with those episodes because he did. But the episodes that have followed haven't really dipped in terms of quality. So the praise the show is getting is not just because of Scott.

Is anyone watching Raised by Wolves? It has the potential to become a sci-fi classic.

I've been loving this show thus far. The story is basic but tightly plotted. Visuals are stunning, harking back to previous Ridley efforts, namely Alien and Blade Runner. But ultimately, it's the performances from Travis Fimmel, Abubakar Salim and especially Amanda Collin in their respective roles that makes everything feel so gripping and eventful. Also, I've found that watching each episode with fresh eyes makes for a more enjoyable experience. So, if you haven't seen any promotional trailers yet, try to keep it that way for the time being.

Damn right. I'm still waiting for unbreakable 2. That movie and David Dunn deserves a true sequel.

The Predator was pretty mediocre. I didn't care for the ragtag group of soldiers and Olivia Munn's character spent more time fighting/shooting predators than doing actual biology...

Predators was so much better.

In the middle of watching Raised by Wolves. It's OK. I don't find the scale and story all that intriguing as of yet. As Arms stated, the story is pretty basic and there are some smaller holes in the story, but nothing serious. Visually, it looks great though.

It was awful, it made the 2 AVP movies looked good
