Lounge of Justice - Part 90

That was a crock...but how quickly people forget that Momoa didn't care all that much.

What? Momoa literally publicly dismissed that fake announcement. But that wasn't my main point either, it means they went to those lengths to shut him up and flip the script. I just wouldn't put it past them, considering the former WB BOSS who greenlit this whole DCEU architectural adventure lost his job due to metoo movement implications.

And then filmed AQ2...

Think back people thought he would sit out and back Ray. He didn't. Gal ripped the dick that is Whedon and others ripped him too but notice no real nuking of Hamada or Johns...

Look I'm just a shlubby dude...Im gonna back off cause I feel this is making things worse.

Just ignore me...

I don't know where you get that whole sitting out and not doing AQ2 thing. I sure as hell didn't. If you talkin about some folks on twitter that is a delusional thing to begin with. Kinda how George Miller sued WB for money, but is still doing a Furiosa flick with them. Point is, Momoa by calling bs on that was backing Ray and most folks saw it.

I mean, you don't have to believe him 100%, but tis' also odd that this young black brother pretty much took a deep curved career wise cause of this with nothing really to gain, really he lost. Hell, I as his agent would've told him not to talk about it publicly, not till after he gained some kind of power in the industry, but he did it, which is real honorable and brave to me.

I am on record on the issue going back. We agree on almost all it. Let's just leave it there I feel my posts are coming off in a way I don't mean them so I'm stopping.

Tis' also easy to place most of the hate on bald Whedon. But folks above him let him get away with it. Who was at the top? You can't circle them answers without including Johns. Kinda how bald Whedon would threaten Gal's career, but not Affleck etc. Cyborgs arch was pretty much erased, if that aint a big F U to him, I don't know what is, even if they hide behind the whole 2 hr mandate nonsense.

I'm moving on as well. Back to miss Fox.

I say this based on her public personality only. BUT! If I had ran into her back in NYC a few years ago, there is no way in hell I don't lock her down for a few weeks at least. I say this without ego. On my Cap Rodgers what ever it takes type thing. No way in hell I strike out.

I will just say I agree with all of this.

There was a point where lots of people doubted Fishers allegations against Whedon, "where's the evidence?" they said. Then others who worked with Whedon spoke out about his past behaviour. Charisma Carpenter publicly supported Fisher and talked about Whedons behaviour and the stars of Buffy came forward to back her up.
A pattern of behaviour confirmed by multiple corroborating witnesses, a chain reaction started by Fisher revealing what people in power in the companies are able to get away with. Things that were kept secret for years because others were choosing to enable and support Whedon.
I don't see many people doubting the allegations against Whedon anymore.

So why the doubt when it comes to Johns? If we accept what Fisher said about Whedon is the truth, then we have to consider who let him get away with it, who enabled him? Johns was there, others have spoken out about his own behaviour, and Fisher seems to have been proven right about Whedon.
And if not Johns, why would Fisher give whomever was actually enabling Whedon a free pass and target an innocent instead?

It has been interesting seeing the conversation change from "Fisher is a liar" to "Yes maybe Fisher was telling the truth about Whedon, but everything else he says is a lie."

Most people doubted Fisher's claims that Whedon was a racist. That's when people started asking for some evidence or at least some details.

Just read this article and you can understand the frustration from people on the outside trying to get any sort of details as to what happened. Even the writer notes how vague Fisher is being.

Ray Fisher gets specific with allegations of racism on Justice League (avclub.com)

So thats why the snyderfans got #IstandwithRayFisher trending right now...makes sense.

Will definitly be a interesting read.
Thing is, one may be able to question Fishers accusations...but you had Momoa and Gadot too coming forward that during the reshoots stuff was going on.

As for the Reduced Cyborg stuff...honestly, i felt that Whedon gave the characters arc still more depth and purpose than Snyder.
But thats neither here nor there.

Yup, guy is a moron for opening his mouth and breathing new life into the controversy, especially after things have mostly died down.

Pretty much yeah.
But i guess he is just too much of a narcissist for that...so its more a surprise that he didnt open his mouth sooner.
Things were getting super quiet on that front, and he had to go and open it up again...what a dumb move.
Especially if he thinks that this will get people into his corner.

The effects of chaos unleased by collective of Toby Emmerich, Jon Berg, Geoff Johns and Joss Whedon on the sets of reshoots of Justice League (2017) are still reverberating in 2022.

Are WB really that much interested in protecting all these people ? Why not fire Emmerich and Goeff Johns ?
