They're replacing the comedy with horror, and Ash isn't in it. The MAIN CHARACTER OF A MOVIE IS NOT IN THE REMAKE OF THE MOVIE.

I don't know if they have ever came out with a reason behind the name "360" but I personally believe it was because of the PS3 and the Wii's code name was The Nintendo Revolution.

360 is both a Revolution and has a 3 in the title. But that is all speculation on my half.

From what I've heard, it's not a remake of Evil Dead but more of a reboot where it's a brand new story that revolves around the Necronomicon book.
