The 2 closest to me is Atlantic City and New York City. Both of which are about an hour in distance.

Also it's 10:00 pm.

Like I said, even if it was Star Wars, I wouldn't be waiting on line.

For me it's less than 20 mins away and based on my last two experiences for free screenings like these, I didn't have to wait in line. I just went right in to the screening.

And what type of giveaways did they do?

If it's free then you might as well. I just don't get the people who actually pay full price.

Yeah, the one in the city is probably a 30-45 minute train ride, but I don't feel like its worth it. Maybe because I'm not a huge batman fan even though I love the Nolan films, but I don't think I'll bother.

For Avatar I got a poster and wrist bands but for Tron: Legacy I got a poster, wrist band, art cards, and a free movie ticket. They also did a raffle drawing for the soundtrack.

For me it's literally 10 minutes away from my house and since they gave me 2 tickets it'll be an experience to be had with a friend. That's what most of these screenings usually amount to for me, it's about doing fun things with friends. If they had only given me one ticket, I probably wouldn't go.

Exactly, the last two I went I had my friends join with the fun. I got two tickets for this free screening and I'm trying to see if my friends are able to make it for this one...if not then I'll take my brother to see it.

Kids...seriously...do not dare yourself to gulp down 32 Fluid Ounces of Eggnog in one sitting. I did and I'm feeling a bit ill right now.

I can barely drink a cup of eggnog before I start feeling gross.

I remember one Christmas I was downing egg nog all day and threw it all up. I'll never do that again.

Never dare yourself. Dare someone else instead. :awesome:

But seriously, I've never tried Eggnog and I don't think I ever will.

I'm trying to remember if I ever got this excited over a trailer or released footage for Star Wars. I never paid to see a movie that the trailer was tied to. I watched it during Entertainment Tonight or on the web. Just don't understand rushing out to see a 6 minute prologue unless it was attached to a movie you were already going to see.

they had some star wars coffee mugs at work for sale yesterday and i thought of you

one is darth vader, boba fett and the last is a storm trooper

just got my $25 gift card from Amazon. thank you swag bucks!

got another $15-20 in gift cards on my way too

I got a darth vader coffee cup once and underneath it said in California the ingredients in the cup making have been linked to cancer.

I use it as a pen holder.

i'll read the bottom of the mugs lol

Not one showing in Colorado. Or in any of the states surrounding it. What the **** gives?

Ok, explain to me how SB works. I've been on there and, because I'm also very simple, have no idea how it works or anything.

In simplest terms you do crap to get crap. I was aiming for the Cap poster...but **** it I only have like 190 something.

I do surveys online. I've done enough for $100 in Gamestop giftcards over the past 2 years.

So I posted a link to the Dark Knight Rises Prologue site and this chick is like "OMG it's an early screening for the movie?" And I was like "No, just the first 10 minutes." Then she said "Well it clearly says the whole movie on the site." So I was like whatever. Then she spent a hour trying to get the tickets and when she did she saw it said "Prologue" on the ticket and so she told me "Lame, thanks for wasting my time." /facepalm

basically kinda what Toonth said, you do stuff to get stuff. there are some things you can do every day to get easy points:

Poll: 1 pt
NOSO: 2 pts
Ad Rewards: varies, i usually get 5 pts a day
SB TV: you can max out 150pts per day. i do this every day
Searches: varies from 7-50 points

you can also do surveys, if you shop at an affiliated site thru the site, you get 2 pts for every dollar spent. for example, i ordered our team's catchers equipment online and got almost 500 swagbucks for it.

how many pts is the poster?

you can do surveys on there too. i've made about 180 bucks from Amazon just this year.

In a year how much in gift cards can you get on average CC?

oh i forgot to add, they usually throw out daily free codes on their fb, twitter and blog pages

i miss a lot of the notifications, so i randomly check this site and they update whenever a code is posted, where you can find it, how much its worth and when it expires
