Unfortunately doesn't look like many of them have their schedules up. Or it's only a tiny subset of IMAX theaters. :csad:

I saw the film 3 times in theaters, and one of my best friends saw it 5 times. Both of us have purchased the digital copy AND the Blu-Ray as well. Nobody can say that we haven't supported this film.

I'm pretty sure that both of us will want to go see this in IMAX, especially since it seems that there are some screenings close to us!

I sense a girls night in the near-future. Yaaasss!

I kicked myself for not seeing this in IMAX 3D the opening weekend, I won't make that mistake again. Just for the sound.

I kicked myself for only getting to see this in the cinema once, was really hoping to see it again but because of money issues I wasn't able to see it again. Really wanted to see Ant Man again as well.

Me too. I saw it again tonight and man...it would have been insane to see it in IMAX.

I just can't wait until they actually have a release date for the sequel to Fury Road since they did say that they were making a sequel to Fury Road since they announced it but there is no release date for it yet

Am I the only one whose favorite scene is when Nux puts his finger next to one of the wives' arm so the bug would move on to him? Beautiful. Up to a point at least. Then he ate it.

Or the best part was the actual fight scene between him and Furiosa at the beginning when he is dragging Nux on his back and he is holding the wives at gunpoint or even the fight scene with Max and Rictus but also when Immortan Joe finally got his comeuppance at the hands of Furiosa

The fight scene between Furiosa and Max was definitely great!

Or the very beginning with Max standing in the desert in the wasteland crushing I think it was a lizard with his foot and then eating it and then getting into his car and then being chased by The War Boys only to get captured and then him trying to escape them but seeing visions of the people who he couldn't save especially that little girl who kept appearing to him

Or how about the part where Furiosa gets stabbed and she needs a blood transfusion literally from Max's blood to survive now that was another part of the movie that did it for me because in that scene Max he showed vulnerability especially when he thought that Furiosa was about to die

Disappointed WB used their ****** menu for this movie.

The first 30 minutes should be taught in film schools.

Sweet lawd.

I was actually checked out of the movie for the first half but thought the second half was one of the best action sequences I have ever seen. I put being checkout down to sitting down to watch a MAD MAX movie and having the main protagonist chained up for half the movie. A protagonist that doesn't 'protag'. If the movie were called Furiosa Road I think I would have been more engaged. I feel confident my next viewing of the movie I am going to enjoy both halves of the movie because I now know the main character is Furiosa not Max.

The complaints about Max "not being the protagonist" or "not being the focus" make me wonder if said people have ever actually seen a Mad Max film. Because aside from the first film (and even then he only becomes THE focus in the third act), that's how these movies go. He's a drifter who wanders into other people's crap that he wants nothing to do with (and that initially has nothing to do with him), but is forced to get involved in the interests of self-preservation.

So it's very much a Mad Max film in that regard.

Immortan Joe if anything the guy got what he deserved at the end when he got his comeuppance I mean the man essentially was a dictator when you think about it

Not to mention a rapist and a murderer.

Rictus if anything was another interesting character or how about that other son of Immortan Joe? The son who was a dwarf baby but the one who could talk and he was talking to his brother Rictus saying to him go and find out what's irritating Dad, now that other son of Joe's I was surprised that when his father was killed he didn't do anything to Max and company which surprised me given that Immortan Joe was his father and all but also his brother Rictus died too at their hands

He looked like a coward and he probably couldn't really move either

I hate WB's disc releases. There's at least a decent amount of features and the transfer looked better than a lot of their movies but damn the formatting sucks.

There's like 7 minutes of movie that Max isn't in and that makes Furiosa the main character?

Yeah you are probably right about that but then seeing Furiosa's tribe especially the women from her supposed tribe come along for the ride and they more or less held their own especially in the chase/fight scenes

I've tried resisting watching clips of this again on a small screen but people have been uploading onto Youtube snippets of action since the bluray came out and I couldn't help myself. Man, that ending gets me. I can't remember the last time I saw a film earn its ending as much as Fury Road did nor do I recall watching a more satisfying conclusion to a film in a long time. The people are freed, the water flows, the music swells and the drums kick in and Max and Furiosa part ways with nothing more than a subtle nod to one and other. Perfect.
