Mad Men - Terrible show or Worst show ever?

I find the show soothing. I once actually turned the tv onto Mad Men just for it to help me to sleep.

But I've never seriously watched the show to give an opinion.

I was surprised to see that next season will be the last but I'm also happy that they have time to prepare a proper ending. With a premise like Breaking Bad, it's kind of hard to see that show going on for 8 or 9 seasons.

I never cared to get into Mad Men so I can't say if it is good or not. What I do know is that this show ruined other shows so I will do my part and continue to not care about it.

In what way did Mad Men ruin other shows?
