Martian Manhunter: The Actor Behind The Green

...They already said Martian Manhunter is gonna be a white guy. They ust have a black guy in makeup posing as Martian Manhunter when he's IN Martian form when in the shadows.

Personally, I always thought an African American actor would be the ideal live action Martian Manhunter. And anyone who screams, "but John Jones is a white man in the comics" needs to rewatch JLU where J'onn spent time on earth as an old Chinese lady.

Also, I agree w/ Hulk, Carl Lumbly is the ultimate MM! It's his voice I hear whenever I read the comics now. Talk about leaving your mark on a character.

I have a guess I was just getting the highlites from Smackdown last night and I saw a match with Finaly and Bobby Lashley and it dawned on me. Lashely is a big guy who is bald.

So? Batista did say in a interview from the set over on WWE.com that he wishes that more of the wrestlers could do this as well, and Batista would like to do this again.

For some reason I think the actor is Alimi Ballard (Herbal from "Dark Angel", and David Sinclair from "Numb3rs"). He is an avid comic book collector.

I was watching Cruel Intentions today and I imagined him green with red eyes, and he looked like the guy. He's done some voice over work for superhero cartoons, it wouldn't suprise me if it was him.

Actually I was thinking of Lashley too. And with that huge body that MMH shows in the trailer it could very well be him. Batista did say he was gonna sugest that more wrestlers appear on the show...

Very good guess, Bobby Lashley does indeed have the face and build to fill our shadowy Martian. But I also think that they would have announced it with Batista. Unless they are waiting to formally introduce him (the actor) for Episode 12 - Labyrinth.
