Yeah in that first story arc it features a couple DC characters including the Batman villian The Scarecrow, Entrigan, Martian Manuhunter, and John Constantine. If I remember correctly both Batman and the Green Lantern are in one panel as well. Yes, I am a nerd!

It's definately not him. But the connection is interesting. He is currently filming BSG on the very same lot as Smallville. However, in the BSG blogs, he made it pretty clear that he would not cut his hair. And seeing that MMH is bald, it can't be him.


however, I'd love to say, that if Smallville had realized that he had been hired on Battlestar, that he would have been very available for some short guest star appearances, seeing that he is temporarily living in vancouver fro his stint on Battlestar.

and besides, he's already Mantis

We don't know a thing about the role much less who've they've cast, or even if they have...

The guy playing him at the end of Static may not even be the real guy. It doesn't look to be a speaking role and they don't give us a very good look at him, so they could have treated the role in Static like an extra part and they could get someone else to play it later.

They could anyway, right? He's a shape shifter, correct?

I don't think he was saying Lumbly was the guy on Smallville. I think he was referring to Carl Lumbly be a better J'onn than the rest since he voiced J'onn on Justice League and Justice League Unlimited.

I suppose they still can, and Lumbly is there in hongcouver, I'm sure the SV producers could kidnap him for a day or two from the BSG set. That would be superfreaky
