So in the vein of the other thread. What characters would you love to see make it to the screen.

For me, for starters...

T-Ray in Deadpool 2

Nova (Richard Rider) in a Solo Movie

Barracuda in a new Punisher Movie or TV show

Mr Sinister in a future X-Men Movie

Omega Red in Wolv3rine

Phyla Vell in Guardians of the Galaxy 2

Mysterio in Spider-Man

Taskmaster would be all kinds of awesome. As would Moon Knight. For reasons of variety though and doing something really off the beaten path... DAMAGE CONTROL. Imagine a Marvel Studios film that is just a straight up comedy with the likes of RDJ, Evans and others doing funny cameos.

I think Hercules is a lot like Dracula in that he's an open domain character, free for anybody to use without the rights issues.

Marvel has their own Hercules though, just as Thor is a version of a mythological character. Marvel doesn't obviously own the Thor of myth but they have a copyright on their version, same as their Herc, a longstanding character in the Marvel Comics.

The mcu tv shows/netflix do have more women of color characters in main roles,supporting roles and once in awhile guest stars in agents of shield.
Elektra coming up well be of east asian origin is another example.
Claire temple(night nurse) from daredevil will be showing up again in jessica jones.

In the Netflix series Daredevil, Rosario Dawson plays a version of the character that is a composite of Claire Temple and the superhero Night Nurse. Dawson will reprise her role in Jessica Jones.

Can't wait to read when this is greenlit.

Outside of them I think Enchantress, Black Cat, Taskmaster, Richard Rider, Kate Bishop, Magik and X-Force characters (Cable, Domino, Fantomes, X-23) are the only ones I'm really waiting to see. Crazy how many characters have now already showed up or will next year.

Of course, the Netflix serieses (is...is that right?) aren't technically film, so, add to my list Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist.

Feige loved The Runaways screenplay that Drew Pearce write a few years ago. Feige shelved because he couldn't see a place for it in their current film line up but I hope they get around to making it in the future as I think it could be really successful.
