Marvel December 2009 Solicitations

But it was fun watching spider-man basically accidently kick the crap out of mags and the hulk.

I really liked the what if issue where he kept the powers too. Great ending and use of the powers.

If I remember correctly Mags also thought Spider-man might be a mutant due to the dramatic swift in powers.He was gonna try and recruit him but then realized he wasn't a mutant.

Yeah he thought he'd test out to see if his new powers were a mutation, then when he saw pete was basically god and could laugh off anything mags threw at him he got the **** out of dodge.

Yea a lot of the early 90's spidey comics kicked ass.I love them.

Oh, God, the art... Anything Quietly, Jimenez or Silvestri was great, probably a couple other not-bads, but so much of it was just... blah. Still think it's my favorite run of X-Men of all time, even if the art makes my eyes bleed.

let's not forget about van sciver. he was probably imo the best artist on the x-men since joe mad. his cover art was godly. problem was, he was as slow as molassass. going from an issue with quietly or kordy to ethan van sciver was like going from woopi goldberg to megan fox.

No way, I prefer Quietly, he's more consistent. Van Sciver had some EXCELLENT panels, but as you said, he was slow and that's why in others, the characters look like abominations. I remember one where Professor X's nose randomly gets like five times larger.

Someone tell me when Van Sciver finally learns which way knees and elbows are supposed to bend.

:awesome::lmao::twisted:
