Marvel Legends, Selects, Universe- Thread - Part 1

kinda alittle annoyed cyclops is in a Wolverine series since Scott is awesome and wolverine is a hypocrite, but the cyclop's figures look amazing so ill take it. Hell think i am getting all the legend figures I saw at toyfare. these are some of the best ones i have seen.

Although I prefer Hawkeye's classic look (and was hoping for a Dark Hawkeye variant) I have to admit the scult on that modern Hawkeye looks great and may tempt me to buy.

The new Hawkeye does look awesome. I've wanted the first Legends Hawkeye for a long time, but I can't seem to find it for less than $50 anywhere. And that's just too much for me to spend on it. I guess I'll have to just take the new one when I can find it.

Noticed that they showed the all of this years legends, wave one and two, but looks like they left out wave one's variants/running changes. I really am looking forward to the white costumed iron fist but I've hardly heard or seen that one compared to the other running changes.

ugh, dammit. I hate BAFs. It forces me to buy figures of characters I care nothing about in order to have a figure that I do want. Looks like I'll be searching eBay for Rocket.

The mini bafs only take 3 figures to build

I'm a little confused about Jean grey.... are there two jeans with one having a variant ? Basically one card saying "Jean grey" and another card saying "Phoenix" (with white crown and aoa as the running change?) Or is "Jean grey" getting 2 variants (which would suck because that always leaves one as a severe rarity, and it sure as he'll better not be Jim Lee Jean....

And the wolverine and iron man legends are fantastic ( aside from sabretooth) finally a good Emma and a new rogue!!!! And a fantastic ultron!!!!

It also looks like I was spot on about Puck and Rocket!!!!

Whoa, just seen all those new legends Both those new Cyclops look boss, I'll definitely be picking them up along with Jim Lee Jean, Rogue/Emma 2 pack, and probably Heroic Age Hawkeye and new Wolverine.

Also is it just me or has Hasbro improved the Emma head sculpt this time round without really making a better body??

i got my archangel from the 3 pack from the x-force/ he is a amazing figure. glad i got him other then just the purple and blue one. love the wings.

The Toybiz Hawkeye isn't bad but my one has a couple of problems - weak plastic on the legs and paint splodge on face I'll get the Heroic one and decide if I want him with my Avengers or subbing as Bullseye with my Dark Avengers. The new costume looks better on a fig than in comics, where I've found it pretty unappealing.

Yeh I'll be pretty annoyed if JLJ turns out to be the hardest one of those three to get as I'm not bothered about picking up either of the other two Jeans.

The Wolverine legends I'm going to spend most on as I may get all of them except Sabretooth. According to Marvellegends.net there's going to be a variant of Wolverine, if that's true I wonder what it is?

I like the look of comic Iron Patriot and Ultron in the Iron Man line, but I've already got a custom Iron Patriot and have the MS Ultron so not sure I need either of them...

Ah ok, thanks. I think one of the reports I read said they were 2 pack but I probably misread (plus it wouldn't make much sense since there's a mini BAF)

I've got the purple and blue, and he's hands down on my favourite Legends. Great figure.

After looking at wave 5 Im pretty sure wrecker and bulldozer arnt running changes but individual carded figs. And that i think aoa phoenix and white crown phoenix share the exact mold so will most likely be carded as "phoenix" while jean grey has a unique mold. That brings the line to an even 6 figs

All these new Legends look so amazing, but I still want to know when they are going to give us the running changes for the Epic Heroes line? I wish Hasbro would've given us some info on this at Toy Fair. I need that Blade and Dani Moonstar or my collection will never feel complete.

the running changes are happening... im sure, they're just delayed. I haven't heard any news though, other than the variants popping up in singapore.

and.. i can't take my eyes off rogue... she will easily be the best female to date. and that goes along way from her first figure easily being one of the worst

Was able to grab iron patriot and heroic age iron man yesterday. They had plenty of the classic iron man figures so I figured I could wait. Surprised at the amount of iron man 3 stuff my target had out but no wave 3 or wave 4 legends.

i mean i can't complain that we're getting the figures we're getting in the "wolverine legends" line (aside from you sabretooth *glares*) but, yeah it would have been a fantastic opportunity for Jubilee, Silver Samauri, Maverik, Northstar, Aurora, and Vindicator. But hey, WE ARE FINALLY GETTING PUCK!

i guess that's sabes new costume? he looks stupid without fur though. always has. And I wouldn't be shocked if ultron is sporting that look in the upcoming comic arc... but hey... after getting rabbit ultron... this one looks like gold
