A little off subject and maybe even a bit late, but I picked up the Ant Man wave, less Ant Man and Giant Man. So happy to finally have a complete Wrecking Crew!! Only took them 3 years to put them all out!!

So classic captain america, taskmaster and mockingbird have been revealed.

I don't need the cap....or the taskmaster.....he's not udon. ....I don't even know if it's a comic accurate costume....just classic. ...with darker touches.

I will get the mockingbird though.....and the others ultimately come down to the Baf

I hope its a 3pack. The last fig I need is another classic Cap, but Mockingbird and Taskmaster would be worthwhile figures for me.

Uh, since when does Taskmaster have a Lightsaber? I know he's a master of all weapons, but huh?!

So far the spider verse event is cool. Yeah I like reading some older stuff of finding the smaller gems like superior foes. Also all of Dan slotts spidey has been great.....despite brand new day. His new hobgoblin was great. Superior spiderman was ****ing awesome. I'm really suprised to hear you haven't read superior spiderman. It was amazi.....no superior.

I second this. And will also add that I absolutly love the direction Slott is taking Peter in with AN-AD.

But, back on topic, these reveals have been all sorts of crazy. Apparently classic Cap is coming with an ALTERNATE WEREWOLD HEAD! This is crazy!

No pic of cap wolf head yet. Though they put an udon head on taskmaster today, and gwens proto civilian head today.

Also, lets not hold our breathes but... a mock up sauron is in the diorama today.... but, hasbro is known for placing customs in their dioramas so wet will find out for sure tonight

So what are the odds that the Red Onslaught baf will have an alternate head to make him......original Onslaught. I would like that quite a bit. Either way guess I'll be getting that cap and tasky because they're part of the red onslaught wave

And that Sauron was a custom.

So they said no Magneto head due to not being able to cross promote x men characters. Cause this is under the Captain America Banner......wilhich is weird. ....red onslaught is a result of Xavier brain in red skulls head and a direct result of magneto killing skull......seems like an x centric character. ..kind of.

But in an interview yesterday with Shartimus Prime he straight up asked the Marvel legends guys if they were still allowed to make x and FF characters or if they were asked to put them on the back burner a bit. They hesitated but did say they can do whomever they please. And used Majik in the Dr strange set as an example. So this seems weird. I would prefer classic onslaught over the red version.....or the crab version we got in TBML 13: bring on the bad guys

Oh and the ben riley spidey figure will have an alternate Carnage head and hands....to make a Spider Carnage. ....that just looks off.

Yeah the onslaught issue is total bs... the body that makes up 90% of the figure is a big x-men villain
.. skulls head doesnt suddenly make it not x-men related...

O well ill likely find a magneto head to replace it.. paint it black and ill be happy

Im pissed about sauron. But at least we now have a great recipe.. movie lizard body, jurassic park Pteradactyl head, Annihilus wings, and sakar loincloth

Spider carnage is neat, but the body doesnt exactly depict him accurately.

Cap wolf is meh

Gwens alt head i would have liked better with longer hair for a classic gwen custom...

The presentation yesterday really failed according to fans thier.. between onslaught issues, and showing us another abomination figure (that we didnt really Need), Nuke who's kinda a "meh" character... buqt they did ahow us a new Namor which looks great.

Presentation wise, the 3.75" figures stole the show and per usual got the figures everyone wants in legends like..

That presentation was pretty disapointing, and the "cross-promotion" mess is a load of malarkey. I guess Hasbro can't be blamed for that one, it's just stupid Marvel is making them act like this. Hopefully they can get out a wave for the movie next year. Dwight said he really wanted to do a Rogue on one of the new female bucks.

As far as the X-Men and Fantastic 4 lack of figures, I think the X-Men had their time, and now it's all Avengers all the time baby! And you know they'll milk it for all its worth, like they do with everything else. And they don't have to split anything with Fox or anyone else. When they run out of Avengers, they'll make more X-Men. And really, how many more FF sets do we need? Stuck with the Ringo set and you're all good.

If the Cap wave is truly a wave, then I'll skip Cap Wolf, but get Taskmaster, Mockingbird, and Namor. Those Look sweet!

1) Marvel can make as many F4 and X-men toys as they like (as long as they arn't movie version) and owe fox nothing... Fox has no distribution rights of X-men merch

2) it's confirmed Captain America: Civil War is getting 2 waves... and this is what we know so far (no if's anymore about it)

Wave 1:
-Classic Captain America / with cap wolf alt head
-Mocking Bird
-Ultimate Animated Series Taskmaster / with Udon head
BAF: Red Skull Onslaught

Wave 2:
-Nuke

3) Namor was not identified for any wave thus far.. just that he's a figure to eventually be released.

4) the spidey wave was easily the most impressive.. Morbius is a major baddy and he's been in dire need of a redo.., Speed demon is also a big baddy (as is silvermane) i plan on putting SM on an ultron boddy) the wave is quite perfection

5) as for Bucks, thats the word used when talking about the body mold/frame for a figure...

i suggest joining me at the fwoosh. lots of figure talk there from people who really love the toys

Yeah, I thought that Rogue looked fine, too. But I'm sure they'll make her look just as good on the new buck (I'd go with Monstone). Either way, those comments, the statement about Sauron looking to "guage interest", and the questions about which body Apocolypse would work best on give me a decent amount of hope for a new wave next year.

And Spider-jay, I'll second Spideyboy's recommendation. The Fwoosh is the best place I know of to talk action figures.

Okay, maybe the lack of X-Men and FF figs is not so much a mandate that says Don't promote them, but more like, eh, let's keep riding the Avengers train for now, and give the others a break.

2. Like I said, I'm good on Cap figures. Cap Wolf does nothing for me. Mickingbird, Taskmaster and whenever Namor, Yes!!

3. Namor. Yes

4. I ccouldn't care less about Morbius. The old Spider-Man Classics is good enough for me. And I didn't read Superior foes of Spider-Man so they dont do anything for me either. And Silvermane is an easy pass for me too.

5. And Bucks is just weird. It doesn't make any sense.

I've always heard of Fwoosh, but I never checked it out. It kinda feels like cheating on the Hype. It's weird. Do you guys have the same name on Fwoosh? I would keep Spider-Jay420, I think. We'll see.
